Have you made your personal list of commands you will and will not obey once you're called in to quell the riots?
As a beat, I got stuck playing 100/100 in the most annoying way. I got picked up for another player who was supposedly an action player, which is fine but the pickup happened as I literally bluffed in a big spot and got picked off.
So I had zero chance to try and recoup the losses.
Then the last two days I couldn’t find a game bigger than 2/5-5/10 so it was pretty much impossible to get unstuck.

I get quite a lot of spam intended for my late mother. I put my email on a bunch of her accounts after she died to manage the closure thereof.
Anyway, these spam emails are either about PayPal or GeekSquad payments going through. They're never threatening, but include a line like this:
Kindly call us immediately (833) 701-9210 to cancel.
and then say that I'll see the transaction soon.
I don't understand the angle. Anybody know how they get $ out of people who do call?
It might be. They no longer have poker, though.
The last time I played there, a player palmed a handfull of green chips into play mid-hand and won a huge pot off the table fish.
I told the fish what happened, he didn't seem to mind.
I called the floor and explained what happened, they also didn't seem to mind.

They will convince the mark that excess was paid, and will ask for repayment of supposed overage, (or complete amount) via gift card-
Currently on a weird 2-9 session streak in 1/3 NL pokerz, although only down 2 of my small BIs. What's amazing is that coming into this streak my record for most losses in a row over 6410 hours / 16 years was 5... and yet tonight I could book my 5th straight loss *for the second time in my last 12 outings*.

Noooo. I don't travel so I don't have the list of all 'classic' poker rooms in which I marinated are now closed. Greektown was special because it was my first regular room and you could cut the smoke with a knife.

Gaelic Storm. And down here in the south they often call ambers "red," and if they mean a maltier red, they call it an Irish Red.
Went out to the local and listened to the bar band play Pogues covers while drinking Guinness and getting free merch from the Tullamore Dew distributor. Can't get any more St. Patrick's Day than that!
In USA#1, English and Irish pubs are considered the same thing. If it's got soccer scarves in it, it's an exotic pub, rather than a normal bar.
