My funnest hand last session out was calling down the clueless new barrell/bluff happy guy with an overpair. I wasn't convinced my overpair was good pre-river (cuz I'm MUBSy like that), but it was. On the river I made top boat, jammed over his final bet, got sigh called, I declare "boat", he nods and says "I had to call, I made a flush". He then tables his hand where he has unwittingly made a straight flush. He also collects the high hand bonus, which ties me for the number of times I've made a high hand and yet this is the first time I've seen him in the room.

Just finished this Lego Porsche. It's about 2 feet long and weighs 5 pounds. Has functional PDK gearbox which is amazing what can be done with Lego.
Coolest toy I have aside from real cars.
That’s very cool. How long did it take to put together? My mom has gotten really into legos and I’m always looking for new kits.

I think it took me around 18 hours, spread out over multiple days.
It can be done in half that time, but I go pretty slowly. These big builds have tons of gears and moving mechanisms. I take my sweet time to make sure everything looks perfect and turns smoothly.
I have a pretty big Lego collection but it's all vehicles (cars, planes, motorcycles, construction equipment).

What a cutie!

Would be interested in Lego motorcycles.
While on my actual motorcycle t'other weekend, I was stopped in traffic next to a large actual crane similar to this one above for several light cycles. Got the opportunity to inspect at length the mechanisms, support and counterweights of a crane tall enough to install/move roof top AC units on a 20+ story building. They were actually moving the unit while I was standing next to the crane, so it was kinda cool, for low values of cool.

Here's my Ducati and Kawasaki. The Kawasaki you can still buy for $85. They have moving pistons and 2 working gears.
They also have super large motorcycles in the $200 range (they've released a BMW, Yamaha, and Ducati). The two shown here are smaller. The big ones are like 50% larger in all dimensions.

Doggo confirmed adorable.

I think 9- 18 hours is a good project for her. Thanks for the details.

Note that that particular model is no longer on sale, so it's very expensive to acquire now (like 3x its original price).
But if you're looking for something very similar to it, there's the Lego McLaren P1 which you can buy now.

Ty for the tip
I’m indifferent to model and more about getting something she doesn’t have at an ability/time level she’ll enjoy.
So far she has done a lot gardens, cityscapes, animals, space stuff but nothing in the realm of cars / trucks.

Wow, SABR. I'm not a lego person, but those are pretty cool.
Also miami, nice pup. Give it a scratch for me.

Ah, in that case I'd recommend starting her off with something smaller. The big cars are expensive ($450) and have complicated gearboxes that can be intimidating to build. Would not recommend for first-timers.
This $120 Ford GT might be better. It's still reasonably complicated without being too much. Then if she likes stuff like that you can go for the bigger stuff.

Thank you- really appreciate the thoughtful recommendation

What’s the dawg called Miami? Garland? Mobley?
I'm a Lego architecture guy myself.
not necessarily. you just need to sell action/seek stake which is very easy to do and printing EV for all parties involved if you’re a solid high stakes pro in a soft lineup
the poker is the easy part, the hard part is securing a seat and everything else
I’ve played hands at that stake and have friends who have also
