that is brutal lol especially vs players you won’t see again. HH?
Also I added a table of plo5 online for like the first time this week and it was the softest game I have ever played in my life why the **** are we playing no limit
HH wasn’t very interesting- just a typical squeeze spot where I barreled on a board that favored me.

Gotcha yeah I imagine your play was winning on every street unfortunate that he had a hand he was able to call you down with.
Please share more from your poker adventures moving forward!! Not many guys playing those stakes actively posting on here.
PLO5 is a fickle mistress, don't get too comfortable. But yeah, the player pool is garbage.
thanks yeah been spending several hours a day in PLOMM trainer to help me train efficiently
It’s not the most accessible to the masses at $300/month but well worth it imo

I’ll drop some tidbits here and there. My poker comes in waves as a rec with a job requiring long hours and have 2 young kids. I probably won’t get any poker action for a month or two after the Vegas trip.
I play pretty big by normal standards but it’s wild how big some of my friends now play. We all braved the 1/2-1/3-2/5 streets together and came up through the ranks but they have graduated to stakes so high it’s hard to comprehend.

Check out this series
That looks super fun ty! You should let me treat you to a nice dinner if I’m in town!
Despite all the live action here in the LA area It’s been nice focusing on online in the short term bc winrate can be insane mass tabling at stakes high enough.
I feel like online play allows me to optimize decision-making without distractions too, while live poker introduces a sensory and social component that can interfere with logical play.
Also adding PLO4c and 5c to the mix as a beginner has made poker insanely fun again, bringing back that early excitement of chasing a dream and reminding me why I fell in love with the game in the first place!!
Random poker question in spoiler:
Spoiler
Anyone know of any resources or have any suggestions on preflop ranges for games with more than 2 blinds?
I play semi regularly in a 4 blind game of 2/5/10/20.
it’s actually a 2/5 game with an agreed 10 straddle and 20 blind raise. Since the 20 is a blind raise, rather than a straddle, it doesn’t get an option. Because of this, it’s also agreed that there is no limping, first action must be at least min raise, which allows the blind 20 to be effectively live.
It’s not uncommon for some hands per orbit to be 5, 6 or 7 blinds (40, 40/80, or 40/80/160) to also happen. Same rules about no limping.
It’s technically only 1k cap, but only dealers enforce that. Usually at least half the players are 3-5k deep.
I feel like I’m doing enough sub optimally and that I’ve been playing in the game enough that I want to get a better handle on what optimal ranges should be so I can deviate better.
TIA

I don't play nearly this high, but I'd have to imagine that ranges have to tighten up a little bit if you're never coming in to a pot for less than 4% of the starting stack, just due to the downstream effects on SPR. If effective stacks are 2K+, then ranges get closer to a normal 100BB stack range. No idea how to adjust for the different position of the third and fourth blind.

Yeah, I have some ideas of what adjustments I think should be done but I’m by no means a poker genius.
i don’t personally for that structure but i can ask a few friends for you
if you want advanced solved 6m ranges though feel free to pm me with an email I can send them too. Happy to forward the zip file to you for free
purchased for 2k a few years back
Pm sent. Thanks.
Man I've never been more tilted about winning $10K in a day.
Made 2 final tables and had 1 nice score. 2nd in a $270 for $9K.
However, missed 4 more final tables by busting 1-2 spots before final tables. And busted 4 more times at the final 3 tables.
Could have been a $40-50K day with slighly better final table luck.
Stupid ass donkaments.

Stupid ass donkaments indeed.
nice score dude
Thanks. Objectively it was a very good day but I went very deep in 10 tournaments, which pretty much never happens (usually can count on maybe 2-3 deep runs per day) and 8 of them died right before the FT which is super lame.
completely understand how you feel.
coincidentally i won 15 or so buyins yesterday (best day of the year), largely through this huge 4 way AI I won on a plo table w A965ds AI pre and a few sets super deep in NL vs whales. Also playing the entire day.
But I was still super disappointed in myself for jamming river in a few spots with top of range where with my solid winning image at the time, dynamics, and info I had on villains I was pretty much never getting called at the freq I would need to for that size to make sense.
inexcusable button clicking on my part
RTP is my poker hero. I wanna be like that guy someday.
Who’s next?
Anyone have a 4some with 3 Victoria’s Secret models and feeling depressed because they couldn’t **** the 3rd one for the 5th time?
(Or is that only me?)
I try not to kiss and tell

I cannot blame him. You gotta be focused on the process and fixing leaks even if you had a monster day.
On Sunday I won a bi at 1/3 and I thought I made mistakes in 3bet and 4bet pots. It's actually tricky, because that pool's ranges deviate in unexpected directions.
For example, I 4bet shoved A5s vs BU 3bet with 230 effective and V called me with 99. I usually don't 4bet light, but I thought V was looser than average. After some thought, I am guessing now that even though he was looser than average, he was still not 3betting as much as he should (mistake no1) and also the fact that he called with 99 which I think is a mistake in his part shows that the pool is sticky even if those spots (mistake no 2). Or maybe I was unlucky. I 've seen people fold to my 4bets in other spots.
