I will absolutely put you on ignore.

BRB, rage-dropping Nestor Cortes

If there’s one thing in certain of it’s that he can’t go back to back to back in his first 3 pitches of the game a second time

That thing looks like an Ewok on steroids.

3 bombs and a double off the top of the wall is a hell of a 6 inning performance

All rise

In prime season too: maximally equidistant from October on the calendar.

The math checks out

The math checks out

I've been saying since at least mid last season that no one should pitch to him.

Judge being 32 is crazy to me. Seems like he should be 28 or 29.

Braves look soooooo bad.

Thankfully, it’s a very long season.

That could just mean more opportunities for maximum pain.

In other news Yankees are on pace to go 162-0.

Which they assuredly will.

Somebody got me this big baseball history book. Trivia:

In the 10 decades since the Yankees got Babe Ruth, who is the only team besides the Yankees to lead the American League in wins for a decade (1920-29, 1930-39, etc. ... up to 2010-19)?

I was a bit surprised to see that in the Mattingly Yankee slump decades of the 80's and 90's, the Yankees still led the league in wins for those two decades (obviously the early 80's and late 90's saved them, still was a bit surprised).

Yeah, bummer. Rookie year at age 25 throws off GOAT bids.

70's A's?

A's weren't good after like 1975.

I'll guess 70s Baltimore Orioles.

I also thought of Orioles.

Oh **** I knew Scott when he was at UNC!! Nice guy. Awful what happened to his parents.

Got the split i was hoping for, just not in the way i wanted or expected. Either way I'll take it. West coast trips are always rough and the Cubs have a brutal schedule through April.

My first guess was 2010s Astros, but I thought about it for 5 minutes and I guess they had to tank super hard to get all those players so that's probably not right

Cleveland?

I just saw the spoiler, but I thought the Indians of the 90's was a good guess

The Orioles are a good guess, but I'm not sure how those teams split decades.

Guessing-

Boston Red Sox for the 2000s.

It's definitely not the Red Sox.

They finished above the Yankees twice in that entire decade.

I'm almost certain it's the Orioles. They were generally big winners in the Earl Weaver era. Can't see it being anyone else.

The Cubs had a 15 mile trip from Sloan Park to Chase Field. The Diamondbacks had a 20 mile trip from Salt River Fields. I'm not sure "west coast trips" are part of this one, lol
