Doug Polk 100k challenge
Doug Polk is going to try to make 100k in a month one tabling mid stakes (3/6) poker on ClubWPT. Can he do it?

Edit/M
He already lost. Everything else is just dessert
He admitted the $100k challenge was dead a few weeks ago. To keep it interesting, he added the stipulation that if he finished down money he would either shave his head or go platinum blonde(up to the chat).
It‘s all about storytelling. He is just a genius, extremely manipulative spin doctor.
Starts with saying he wins 150 stacks + in a month one tableing, which is just not possible on a public site. And I don‘t know why he came up with this idea. Can he really be so stupid?
Wins approximately 10 stacks and spins it like he won something. Our subconscious is just so stupid, that in the future we will few it as win.
I am not from North America so i cant login to wpt to see what stakes they spread.
Now the initial $600nl challenge was superseeded by a challenge to win $100k at any stakes
Bearing in mind Doug's a 10BB/100 winner @ hu lifetime, according to my maths @ $200/400 tables 5000 hands should get it done
Right?
Doug did the hard words years ago. Now he's an investor and business owner, maintaining a positive public image so he can eat easy in private games and sponsorships.
This is all just for funsies.

My bad
EDIT: 2500 hands should get it done.
Shout out Doug. Way to battle back. Up 23K today and 24K for the challenge. Respect.
What a crazy day for him! That hand where he flopped a set of aces and had to hero call on the 6789A board when opponent rivered a set of 9s lol!
Watching the final match now. Is it me or is Pearson the most obnoxious person ever ? I had to turn it off.
Did anyone watch towards the end of the 2 hr stream, with about 2 minutes up by like $1,400 he was folding pretty much every hand. He was getting real nervous about falling below break even and having to shave his head.

He correctly understood that the situation was akin to a money bubble situation in a tournament only in his case instead of getting into the money, he was getting to keep his full head of hair. So nervous or not, that was the correct way to play at the time.
That was a nice show. Thanks Code!
Someone got videos with the memes ("use the code", "my name is code doug", "on the outs ")?

That was a pussy move. Persson was calling him bitc* and taking advantage of him. He should have fought like a man, who cares if you have to shave your hair.
But you should never let any other man make you their bitc*.

This wasnt a tournament or anything though, it was a friendly wager with his viewers. Kinda a bitch thing to do to fold his way into that win.
Thanks everyone. It was a very fun month. Looking forward to the stream leading into the giveaway on Tue
Everyone should recieve SC on April 9th

The challenge was for him to win $100k in a month. By the final 5 minutes, that was out of the window.
The other thing at stake was for him to beat Persson so as to avoid driving a beater for the summer. By the last 5 minutes that was also out of the window.
So the only thing left was for him to play to keep his full head of hair. That's what he did. Like he did throughout the challenge, he deployed a solid strategy for the task.
Today, Doug's play was very interesting IMO. Because before the way he adjusted towards the end, he played a more exploitative strategy which was different to the one he used vs most of his other opponents.
Today is the final day to sign up using code doug for the free sweeps coins. At 8 pm CT we are locking it, you must be registered (verified your ID) or purchased to win your 10/25 sc coins respectively.
Thanks for everyone who tuned in for all the shows, I had a lot of fun despite getting owned!
I hear Doug is going to be doing a McDougnalds challenge next month where he works as a cashier for 40 hours a week in order to make more money than he did this month.
