Found myself playing plolololol again. This is becoming a habit.

HJ calls 20 pot 45
CO calls 20 pot 65
BTN pot 105 pot 170
SB calls 105 pot 275
HJ pots pot 275+105 call = 380 + raise of 380 = 760
Could be wrong I guess but this is how I learned it

Surely it’s 85 (he already has 20 of the 105 in) plus the new pot total = 340 so total bet 425?
that's counting the 85 call twice, I think.
It would be 425 in the pot, if HJ clicked it back with a min-raise. But HJ pots, so HJ's pot sized raise is the pot coming to HJ (255) plus HJ's call of the raise to HJ (85) = 340 * 2

made some huge laydowns today - had a losing session but should have lost a lot more flopping top pair several times in 3! pots and finding the fold vs 79s two pair and 55 for a set
it was right all but once where one guy led out with mid pair, i called with top pair and gutshot and another guy 3! large as a bluff and the OR called so i folded and mid pair held up so feel pretty good about all my laydowns

There's nothing between you and the north pole except a barbed wire fence. Open flat is just plain dull. I went to Tucson this week for the first time in over a decade. Outside the city is nothing but flat dirt and you could see only the wind whipping up walls of dust the entire time.

I'm guessing my life circumstances will change in another decade to the point where the wife and I could at least consider moving somewhere very different for our retirement years. Waterfront, or at the very least waterview, would be high on my list of nice-to-haves... if we could swing it.

Are those big Canadian lakes in the movies off limits to construction? It seems as though you could go far enough north that no one is trying to stop you. Although that would be more of a snowbird thing.

We actually do get quite a few overcast days. In the awful season there is only a tiny bit of sun but it remains 107 F.
There's plenty of flat, boring, sprawly places in the Denver metro area. I live closer to the foothills and get visitors like this at my house

See above, there's a better way to do it. If the pot rule ignored the blinds and said that the first bet must be to 20 then everyone's life is easier in every hand.
