General TV Discussion and Thread for Shows Without A Thread Thread
OOTV doesnt like family comedies much huh? Raising Hope and The Middle are two of the best(possibly the best outside of
not posting in last of us thread because of spoilers
only through ep1 of s2 but very annoyed at the structuring
That’s crazy talk. Not even a top ten show currently on the air.
Max has ER, which Iβve been watching ever since it popped up after the Pitt last week. Itβs just so so good. Amazing itβs 30 years old. I remember some of the broader story lines but not any of the episodes.
116 days later, I watched the series finale of ER last night. 15 seasons. 331 episodes. Was good background viewing for other stuff.
I realized I had stopped watching after season 8 or so when most of the original cast rolled off. While it definitely didnβt maintain the same level throughout the whole run, and seasons 13-14 in particular got pretty meh, overall this was a great ****ing show and Iβm kind of sad Iβm done with it.
Dept. Q on Netflix was amazing. Go watch it if you like Slow Horses and Mindhunter, as you should.
I think I posted this in the wrong thread, but I am looking forward to this!
Halfway through The Rehearsal S2... unbelievable.
First episode was really good, two was just fine... Three is an actual masterpiece.
You might want to check Louis Theroux's podcast interviewing John Wilson.
'How to with John Wilson' is one of the greatest series I've seen. Fielder was the producer and helped get it made.
That's funny because after watching S2 of Rehearsal I thought about how similar it was to John Wilson. I thought Fielder was ripping him off, but in reality they were partners. I found S2 to be a lot more accessible. I didn't finish S1 because I couldn't really understand it. I appreciate the creativity though.
Rome the hbo show is better than Gladiator the movie.
I ****ing hate Gladiator...pos movie.
Enjoying Dept Q though the accents are so thick I had to turn on the English subtitles π
Your Friends and Neighbors was pretty entertaining.
hate season 2 of the last of us, just finished ep 4 and honestly unsure if i even want to keep watching
crazy because i loved s1 and the gay episode is easily one of the best standalone television episodes ever made
Just jump straight to episode 6. It’s at a quality level of the Bill and Frank episode. I didn’t like this season either but season 3 should be good. All the cool **** happens in that arc.
Stick is meh...mostly because the writing sucks.
This guy is down on his luck, get's $100k from his wife when she sells their common house, gives it to the mom of the whiz kid for some freakin reason, and now is supposed to pay for an 8 week road trip and top of the line clubs? GTFO
Really excited for the next season of Peacemaker.
John Cena made me a fan of his acting with the last season. Brought a comic name you never heard of even if you were a comic fan to big time levels.
Wonder how Superman is going to affect it.
Nobody actually likes Gladiator.
It's one of those movies everyone said was awesome and we were too blinded by its admittedly amazing visuals to see what a turd laid underneath.
Rome was set during the coolest moment of the Roman empire and was historically accuratish. GOT might not exist if Rome didn't do the historical fantasy so perfectly.
Father of a murdered son, husband of a murdered wife, blah blah blah I'd immediately slap the **** outta Russell Crowe on set if he made those words in my presence.
If not for the profile pic of the goat show Lost, i'd say ban this guy for a week for blasphemy
Rome is just a low IQ I, Claudius π
I, Claudius didn't need any CGI, or any production values at all really!
