I can't wait to be there on the 12th, but from what I'm reading it sounds like there are some real pros and cons to the new WSOP+ app:Pros:- You can always see who's at your table. No more "that guy looks familiar, I'm pretty sure that's a pro I've seen on a stream but I can't come up with his name" experience.- No long wait in line for a seat assignment for late reg and re-ent

Some of these came up today. We had an empty seat at our table for 3 levels because nobody clicked a guy out when he was eliminated.
The guy sitting next to me was on 1% charge on his phone.
It took me 45 minutes to get registered even though I bought in with cash.

Do I need a Real ID? Can I use my passport instead, if so?

Thanks guys, but there's a lot of dumbshit going on this year and im trying to keep up for the two whole events im playing.

yesterday moving from paris to horseshoe got my new seat assignment, got to my table with chips in hand looked at my app no more seat said I busted. took the floor several minutes to figure it out. Dealer wasn't going to deal me in but i said oh no i'm playing her's my bag of chips.

Im unfortunately expecting a lot more antidotal snafu stories like this. Sorry for your hassle, hopefully you shook it off and made day 2.

Just won a landmark satellite so I guess I'll be playing in Mystery Millions tomorrow. For what it's worth, if you're in the mood to just play aggressive and hope to be lucky in a 15 minute turbo, it's a pretty fun option. Especially when you're winning.Oh but the dealers are horrendous. Literally every new dealer who has never dealt starts with the satellites. I had dealers who

Where was that held, btw?

Do you register in the same room?

Are they held at regular intervals?

Thanks

if someone is just going to play a couple of daily tournies at horseshoe, do you still use the wsop+ app for those?

Yes. If it is a WSOP tournament you register using the WSOP+ app.

For those that were complaining about the lack of historical transparency in regards to the new wsop.com site, there is apparently an app, W50P which has just that ; listen starting from minute 34:00 on the Pokernews podcast : https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/su...Disclaimer : I have yet to check

Thanks for the shout out. PokerNews also posted a standalone video.

I only belatedly found my tribe here at 2+2 last year, but you guys have been tremendously supportive, which I really appreciate.

Some of the charts in the article began their lives in the WSOP Top 10 Tuesday thread, and I also have a sadly underutilized AMA thread.

Do I need to start a collection of Tournament Structure PDFs or do you think the old ones will come back at some point? (I probably have less than 10% of these right now).

Upon registration, you were classified as "dead money". You need to challenge that call.

Yes, I wrote a long ranty tirade about it in the Las Vegas Lifestyle forum.

I'd like to get that "back page" that had all the satellites and specialty megas they run. I know there are Colossus-specific ones for $70.

I think if you’re registering with cash, you can do it in the main ballroom areas. I don’t think you can do it where these are held, though. They’re held where the deepstacks are. The little rooms up the escalators by Nosh.

Anybody here watching the WSOP on poker Go?

I don't think the old ones are going to come back imo so probably need to. Look how long it took to get this years up when it got taken down

They are all up on WSOP.com, including satellite and Daily Deepstack structures. Click on the WSOP schedule, then on the right side of the page are links to all the old stuff.

Thanks. With my luck they will both say to go to the other place to reg with cash.

That's this year's. The person was talking about having an archive of old tournament structures. 2024 and older going all the way back.

If you can handle the URLs loading at a snail's pace, the Internet Archive has snapshots of the WSOP schedule, with working links to structure sheets, for past events. Here's one that works for 2024:
https://web.archive.org/web/202404171548...

You can find previous years as well, though it takes a little navigation, as some of the captures don't seem to load properly.

FYI, saw a video the other day re: the Real ID program. It mentioned that the federal government was planning all along for a period of time after the deadline where TSA would be more flexible, allowing passengers to proceed with some other form of valid official ID and an enhanced security check. This doesn't preclude any particular TSA agent or checkpoint from being more difficult than another. And the grace period won't last forever.

If you haven't gotten your Real ID yet due to procrastination or out of some sort of principle, you might think about getting it sooner rather than later.

Yes, I love the Internet Archive. I was hoping to be a little more efficient, and I already regret not downloading them when it was easy to. I suppose this is something I can do while watching TV, but...

Does anyone have any old Structure Sheets for any year before 2025 that they can send me (anything @w50p.com will get to me)?

I'll keep an updated list of what I have.

Seem to remember there was some discussion earlier in this thread as to if numbers would be up or down this year.

Came across this on twitter. Looks like they’re slightly up so far.

Thanks for the info. While comparing raw entries from one year to the next may tell us something, it isn't so obvious what it means for WSOP attendance, and I think that was the thrust of the previous discussion. This year, each of the weekend events has an extra starting flight. If the numbers year to year are close, I think it would be fair to say attendance is down. If the numbers are lower in 2025, then I think it would be fair to say attendance is down a non-insignificant amount. Outside of that, I'm not sure the comparison is all that valid.

Of course, if the total attendees is down a fair bit, but those who do come are firing more bullets, then that may mean something as well.

Does anyone know if you can register multiple credit cards while doing verification?
