Put that $800 on a ML that is -200 and boost your bankroll 50%. Trust. With with $400 extra grind 10NL 4 tables and play very very tight 9 handed for 1 week straight, and don't change stakes no matter how much tilt you're on. You'll turn $800 to $1,600 that way. Trust. After doing that find a job close by your home that will let you wash dishes or something simple like 10-20 hours per week, and add that $ to your roll as you continue grinding low stakes games.
Put that $800 on a ML that is -200 and boost your bankroll 50%. Trust. He's close with his folks and has many friends who would happily give him the shirt off their back, has a part-time job and lots a free time. Sure, not doing poker the way most of us do it and probably has a gambling addiction that will probably cause him and those close to him lots of pain in the future. Personally hope he faces up to it at some point and tackles it head-on. But compared to the bulk of the world's population, he's living a great life.
