I'm pretty sure I already had this discussion with OP. There isn't a scenario where he doesn't play poker. Even if he binks something big, he's going to blow through it and be back to square one. I guess there is some small chance with a big enough bankroll he plays games he doesn't punt in and stays focused. However, the chance of this even after binking something (which is an already low chance) seems quite low.

i dont share much about poker in my log, but ive been through some dark times. a girlfriend said go to a gamblers anonymous meeting or we're through, and i did. lots of my relationships with friends and family were strained to the point of exhaustion, and there are some irreparable bridges that were burned. i couldn't see the good bets from the bad bets for a period. im doing better now. making good bets.
idk if chany has that type of stress. i shared it so you guys know where im coming from when i say sometimes you gotta tighten the screws on game selection and focus on your strong games. make waking up with some semblance of a playable poker balance a habit. withdraw and reevaluate priorities after big wins, leaving only the amount you can lose without negatively affecting your own mental health.
i didn't quit gambling. this is the playbook i had to write in order to get my life back after a long string of bad decisions. new psych med helped too but thats my individual issue. i think getting the big issues fixed, wake up with playable balance, play your most profitable games near exclusively, make decisions that prioritize your mental health over chasing that awesome run up, will benefit your results on the felt. being free from the feeling that i have to run this up today; that i need to make things great today; this was key to my own stability.

I think I asked, maybe in this thread, about the formula for and efficacy of water walking/running for calorie burning. My experience is it can burn much more and faster than land based. But I asked about why the body weight is factored into the calories burned since you weigh little to nothing in the water.
Last few weeks in the heat I've gotten back in the pool. Enjoying it. Also good for aches and pains. It finally occurred to me that though gravity weight is greatly reduced, the energy to push thru the water horizontally, that resistance is about 11 times I think I've heard that of air/gravity. The pushing thru a kind of horizontal gravity is what burns so many calories and sugar. It still seems like it should be the circumference of the body, not the weight, that determines how much resistance one is experiencing in the water. ??
