2025 Formula 1 Season
2025 Formula 1 discussion thread...
I think George would stay at Merc
Well, that was boring
Watching the story on Horner, Vettel says, after one of his wins, "We have to remember these days, there's no guarantee they will last 5 months."
You joyless bastard!
I still don't get why we have wet tyres if inter-worthy weather is too dangerous to race
Cina must have been the guest race director.
Could have had a bit of intrigue at the start, but as Max said, they played it way too safe waiting for the track to dry up, and then on top of that a rolling start?
This was actually referring to the sprint, but I could easily have copied the post for the race as well
I guess Spa doesn't like rain and doesn't want to claim another life, so they play it as safe as possible
They should put up a roof over the racetrack then
I still don't get why we have wet tyres if inter-worthy weather is too dangerous to race
There was a race, last year I think, where one team timed it absolutely perfectly to get their guy on wets...and then the race just gets red-flagged. So there's absolutely no point even wasting money transporting wets everywhere. If the rain ever gets to that point, the race is 99.99% getting stopped.
And now it seems inters are almost a thing of the past!
This is excellent news for the Red Bull and its fans.
So has Hamilton fallen off a cliff or has it always been the car?
This is a question for all of you who think Hamilton is the GOAT
Hamilton was clearly worse last year at Merc too. Less consistent, more mistakesβ¦particular in qualifying. That has continued this year
I feel like he's as solid as before in race situations (given the car ofc)
He doesn't seem to underperform for where he starts and makes few mistakes in race.
His qualification form has been disastrous though, just constantly slower and prone to mistakes
And now we wait.
Perez/Bottas at Cadillac next year should be interesting. What does Lewis do? He's obviously underperforming in the Ferrari. Does the money fill the "no podiums yet" hole?
Jan 1st will be interesting as it’s when Horner’s non-compete clause expires.
I expect him to be the new team principle at Alpine, funded by his mentor Bernie with FlΓ‘vio overseeing.
Possibly a final swan song there for Lewis.
What would be a fair over/under on a Cadillac driver's best race finish next year? 8.5? 7.5? 9.5?
Stroll is so bad
Max should’ve given Vcar a few test drives during break. Junior team’s car is faster lol
I don't ever want to see Max in the fastest car again
Wonderful Sainz message. Basically calls Lawson a dumbFk lmao.
better race than I expected from Zandvoort
Hadjar on his way to a podium, amazing
Bad luck for Lando. Tough coming back from this.
Yeah. That was entertaining
So glad we didnβt get the usual snoozefest
I did not expect that.
Does he have anywhere to go?
How did he get there anyways? He had an F3000 team and then was just placed there by Red Bull!
Just to go back to this and yes it has been awhile - I have been travelling and just been late on watching F1 but he was just there because Red bull had just started in F1 and he hit the jackpot basically with how much resources Red bull poured into F1.
