*** Official OOT Less Important Than George Michael RIP Thread ***
Here's a catchall thread for condolences for all your George Michael and below subchampions. May they all RIP.
RIP Alla
I spent a couple of years being mad at Burt Reynolds in the late 80s.
He ruined a lot of folks dreams and fantasies, then he screwed it all up.
She said she didn't understand the reason for the split and that Burt not only threw her out of the house but also humiliated her with his accusations about her mothering. Loni Anderson also accused Burt Reynolds of physically abusing her multiple times, which she blamed on his drug use.
In the vain of Ginger vs MaryAnn, are you a Jennifer or Bailey?
I probably would have bet a significant amount of money that Loni Anderson had died a long time ago. RIP.
You might want to catch up on the thread and your current events, lol. Unless he pulled a jesus, rose from the dead, and now has died again.
Hah oops I'm a month out on my dates!
Tbf it was new news to me anyway...
At the time it was airing I was Jennifer 100%. Now? Not too sure, I don't even remember Bailey, lol.
MaryAnn 100%
Bailey in 1981 and Bailey now.
It's my understanding the issues between Burt and Loni were mostly in Loni's lap but rarely is anything 100% one person's fault.
i'm an absolute wrkp right now
may you forever rest in peace, miss sweet Loni
both proud and embarassed to admit your beautiful face will forever be one of the first images that comes to mind after hearing someone utter the phrase 'sweater puppies'
do not worry, my mom was an elementary school teacher hence she always checked on pupils and their topographical focus
may your venus flytrap forever create johnny fever when whoever the less of us men gets the burnt reynolds wrap ends after another death by hello copper turkey fiasco
Bailey and Maryann are the only acceptable answers.

Sounds like I have to binge WKRP again.
It angers me when I get blank stares for referencing the phone cops or Chi-Chi Rodríguez.
Oh yeah and, "Cop got a hat, I want a hat too!"

LOL
I've used Chi Chi Rodriguez so often that I have to stop to think to pronounce his name correctly. (Same with chihuahua. RIP Les Nessman.)
I followed Chi Chi's group around in Memphis two or three tournaments. It was hard to leave his group to go somewhere else because you didn't want to miss the next story.
Speaking of Burt Reynolds —
Alfie Wise has moved on.
Bailey and MaryAnn

Bobby Whitlock, 77, best known as keyboard player for Derek and the Dominoes.
Played not only on their double album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs", but on two other all time great double albums released within a short period of time: George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" and the Rolling Stones' "Exile On Main Street".
After that he had a solo career, but it was never as high profile as what he had played by the time he was 24 years old.
By the way, he not only played keyboards on the "Layla" album, but he wrote or co-wrote half of the songs, and he sang co-lead vocals along with Eric Clapton, on most of the songs. If that project had lasted for a few more albums, he might now be known as one of rock's greatest keyboard players.
Here is the finale of the album, also the one song he wrote and sang alone.
Oh man, that stings. His autobiography is a great read.
He and his wife used to perform at the Saxon in Austin before he moved. They did a lot of the songs off the Layla album. I saw him a few times there. I can’t find it but I posted here in OOT about my first trip to Austin when I found out he played there weekly. What a treat that was seeing him in that small setting. His voice was still so powerful.
This makes me sad.
