Seems like a win win deal honestly. Parsons had to go and he wasnβt getting Dallas over the hump. With GB yeah maybe he could. Everyone made the right move for their situations well done i guess
Yeah I don't hate the deal for the Cowboys but it's only because we suck anyway and weren't going anywhere. Dak is meh and I think was already teetering on the edge of a cliff even before a major hamstring injury.
Our absolute ceiling next couple years was probably sneaking into a 7th seed at 8-9 or something and having the privilege of getting rolled in the first round, I've seen plenty of that. That said, the rebuild won't work anyway, Jerruh will probably draft fullbacks two years in a row with the picks or something.
it's not too late to get in on the action McL
fwiw, the Phish are the third pick to win their division
Thereβs definitely a path for Phins to be good. Pass rush and then Reek and Waddle with a healthy Tua

Yes, and I'm not blind to the fact that it can all go wrong real quick, but I have a lot more faith in Milf Hunter and to some extent Ewwwwwers if/when something should happen to Tua.
I think Mike is going to be the first coach fired.
It’s vibes based, but I felt like he started to lose the team last year, and it’s going to continue to spiral downward when things don’t go well to start.
Too many defensive injuries, Tua average, Reek crazy and injured, Achane calf, didn’t do much to improve in the off-season, etc.
4 out of the first 5 are very winnable, so we’ll see.

What Mike deserves to be fired for is not cutting bait on Tua. I assume that if he wanted Tua gone, that would have happened, and he enabled the massive contract. The blame isn't solely on him, but he gets plenty.
Idk, itβs the NFL. Rookies turn into stars and stars get old overnight. Happens every year where a team we all discount goes 11-6
I donβt think itβll be the Fins but they have an easy early schedule and who knows from there. Mind you if they donβt start 4-3/3-4 at least then it could get very ugly for them

The problem is he wasn’t really incentivized to let Tua go, even if he didn’t think Tua was a SB quality QB. Because the alternative was worse and would likely get him fired, anyways.
Mike has some good football qualities. But he’s not a very good HC, imo. And he struggles to make adjustments when the personnel doesn’t line up exactly like he planned it. Kind of like Tua.
Over the last 10 seasons, the AFC averages around 2-3 teams each year that make the playoffs that missed the previous season.
If 3 of the teams that didn't make it last year are able to get in this year, then Miami doesn't seem like a bad bet against this group. FWIW, my 3 would CIN, MIA, and JAX.
I think Iβm predicting Season from Hell for CIN
I think Jags win the division.
Somebody talk me out of wagering on them to do that.
Or let me convince you to do the same.
