ICE raided a Georgia Huyndai-LG plant and arrested around 460 people, 2/3 of which koreans. Purportedly most of them have legal working visas so it's unclear why this happened.

Seems the visas may have not been valid by the strictest interpretation of the rules. That being said, I still find this completely unacceptable. It is one thing if we want to go after Venezuelan drug dealers. But to go after political and economic allies who are an extreme net positive to our economy, while they are trying to invest in America, is completely unacceptable IMO.
I know you disagree, but I am increasingly finding Trump's populism and socialism as egregious and damaging as much of what Biden was doing.

There was 0 anti korean racism , and MAGA actually used "rooftop koreans" as a meme a lot, and the actual rooftop korean is MAGA and active on twitter.
And this is a company that Trump had a deal with, that pledged 20 bln in american investments, no xenophobia against it opening in the USA and in general, everything trump and MAGA always said without a shred of doubt was "come invest here" to everyone worldwide.

this raid was just ******ed but specifically it targeted something Trump didn't want targeted at all. let's see if some ICE heads at the mid level roll off because of this, would be nice to see.
Policy wise if he goes on with tariffs and so on Trump might end up even worse than Biden sure; but keep in mind that judges still matter immensely, as well as the attempts to get favourable SCOTUS decision on crucial topics, that would be incredibly good for american society.
