President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

anyway, Im not sure what the own is here, SRM. Mamdani is your boy. you are the people that believe in electoral politics. I am the guy who says both sides are the same. and now super fascist Hitler 2.0 is rubbing elbows with the most radical Democratic party politician.

If nothing else I think you and I agree on one core truth: The vast majority of the politicians in both parties are evil and don't care one iota about helping their constituents any more than necessary to win the next election.

by geezerchess

My posts are far more measured and calm than yours, troll.

Ok. Where's that smiley face mask over the screeching face meme?

by geezerchess

Liar.

Easy to prove me wrong and you right: Let's see the receipts!

The guy that's on at least his second account because he got beat down for bashing gays wants me to prove his disdain for gays? Yeah, okay.

But I have a better idea: List the reasons you voted for Trump, and I'll explain to you why that was ******ed based on his first term and campaign promises.

by geezerchess

You're a joke. I'm not in the least bit indignant.

Chit... you should legally change your middle name to Indignant.

by geezerchess

I wouldn't have voted in the election at all if I had thought his second term would be a disaster.

Then you're just a unitard.

It's interesting that MTG has decided to resign. How would we rank her potential motivations in priority order:

--She wanted to avoid getting primaried and potentially losing to someone backed by Trump.
--She wanted to turn whatever notoriety and goodwill she has generated in the last 30 days into a private sector paycheck and this seemed like a good time to do so.
--She has aspirations to some other political office and she thinks resigning is the best path to achieving that office.
--She wanted to embarrass Trump.
--She is resigning as a matter of principle.
--Something else.

I was assuming that I could make the case a bit better than he does.

nah.
you have too much intellectual integrity preventing you to blindly lies has he does.

+1

i think it's pretty clear

she's stated dems are retaking congress in 2026 and will impeach trump and go after the remaining maga

she's distancing herself from that and planning to come back in a more important office as the "good maga" in the future

There's been quite a few questions about her trading too.

It's nowhere to be found since I have no reason to be upset, angry or otherwise screechy.

That wasn't what I accused you of lying about. Please read your own post to find out what specifically I accused you of lying about.

But I have a better idea: List the reasons you voted for Trump, and I'll explain to you why that was ******ed based on his first term and campaign promises.

I have an even better idea: Stop lying about me and then I'll at least consider engaging your request.

That would make no sense since I'm not 'indignant' about anything. Plus I really like my given middle name.

Then you're just a unitard.

Never thought of myself as a jumpsuit, but I've been called worse.

Bolded

This clown getting primaried is the end of her political career but given her inexplicable aspirations to Senator of governor, resigning in advance of a maga implosion especially given her final moves prior makes her appear more electable

Timing couldn't have been better.

addendum: On your list, "Resigning as a matter of principle" is the only one off-the-table imo.

A bit of 1 a bit of 2 and a bit of 4. Maybe a bit of 6

Trump press conferences have been amazing lately. from Jolani perfume sesh, to MBS handshake flattery, and now Mamdani.

The Don is a straight up baller! Notice how terrified and intimidated people are when summoned to the White House. You can't deny Trumps leadership ability no matter how much you disagree with him.

I'm not clear on why you think I have an obsession with you. I suspect you respond to my posts about as often as I respond to yours.

That said, I have to admit though that in general I find emotionally fragile folks like you who go on rants on the internets to be at once both pathetic and amusing.

Guy who spent 25 years on prozac accurately insult himself in a weird form of style.

Mamdani and Trump's meeting was basically a lesson showing how to tame your toddler.

I and millions others happily assert Trump has zero leadership abilities. You can't deny them because you have the intellect of an infected ingrowing hair follicle on the left testicle of a syphilitic rat.

What he does have is spectacularly good grifting abilities though. I cannot deny that.

Sure, buddy. Doth protest too much, methinks.

As usual and expected, Trumpers pivot as soon as you ask why the fukk did they vote for him.

Bro, your first name is Chuck. I don't have any confidence about your middle name.

I think geezer has proved he's open to listening to the other side. And he's got a sense of humor. He's still not on board with everything but so what. I say let the past go.

I just saw that Marjorie Taylor Greene is resigning. This I believe has to be because she’s finally realized that Trump is the bad guy, he’s the main culprit and predator in the Epstein files. He’s the scumbag grifter putting foreign interests over that of the American people for a buck. Her whole world has crashed, everything she believed in is wrong. In that case your only choice is to resign.

You know things are bad when the only person in the Republican party with any integrity is ****ing MTG!

Or maybe MTG is resigning because she has a full pension and health care locked in for life and can go pursue other things rather than live in the DC sewer.

He hasn't proven chit. If you asked him if he could go back and vote for Trump or Kamala knowing what he knows today, the best he would say is that he wouldn't vote at all. In other words, he doesn't think Trump is bad enough that he would vote for the other candidate to prevent him from being in power again.

Nah, if that were the case, she would have just given an impromptu resignation and not read from a scripted one. She's worried about her perception. That's because she's planning on running for a higher office.

Calling mtg the only person with integrity in the Republican Party is exactly why she’s resigning

Getting enough buffoons to believe that will get her the governor’s mansion next year

She’s leaving a sinking ship and is trying to make her brand more palatable
