President Donald Trump
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
Okay. So, is it your position that Trump voters (which would include myself) necessarily agree with everything that he is doing. (Which was your claim in the post of yours I originally responded to.)I disagree with a tonnage of stuff he is doing. And I voted for Trump three times.I seem to remember a couple months ago that most Trump voters (including myself) were outraged
One cannot pick up only one end of the Trump stick. You voted for him, thus all of this is on you, good or bad. Whether you like it or not, that is how it is. If you chose Trump, you chose this.
It is the height of intellectual dishonestly to have the gall to proudly announce ‘I voted for trump three times’ while simultaneously having the audacity to claim ‘I didn’t vote for this’
Yes you ****ing did. And you know you did. You just don’t want to admit it cuz it’s unpopular like all closeted trump fans
He hasn't proven chit. If you asked him if he could go back and vote for Trump or Kamala knowing what he knows today, the best he would say is that he wouldn't vote at all. In other words, he doesn't think Trump is bad enough that he would vote for the other candidate to prevent him from being in power again.
I saw on Bill Maher last night that some celebrity e-mail ger friends during the 2024 election on 10 reasons to not vote for Trump and Maher's reply was 10 I can come up with a 100 but why not send to your friends 10 reasons to vote for Kamala . Sadly I could only come up with one She would concede if she lost .
I am curious how many of our Americans here with Thanksgiving coming up have not invited a family member or friend for dinner because they voted for Trump

You don’t need much reasons to vote against autocratic:fascism regime and vs a criminal ,sexual offender, coup plotter .
Your lack of imagination to vote for Kamala isn’t surprising.

Ignoring the law isn’t a valid reason for breaking it .
Being wilfully blind to vote for trump isn’t a valid reason either .
Fraudster, coup attemp , sexual offender , horrible violent narrative , liar, etc .
What makes trump powerful isn’t trump himself, it’s the stupid voters that put him in and all those idiots political scums in his own party and judicial officers he named who don’t oppose him at all .
It’s on you …

Not sure what I'm supposed to be admitting to. I'm very candid about my beliefs and what I stand for.
For the record for all to see, here are a few things I 'admit to':
I admit I voted for Trump three times.
I admit that I thought his second term would be an improvement on his first term.
I admit that (so far) his second term has been far worse than I thought it would be.
I admit that he has done many things in this term that I disagree with.
I admit that he has done a handful of things that I actually agree with.
None of the above admissions should be surprising if you'd read my posts for the past several months.
I always try to be forthright and candid about my beliefs. (Sometimes to a fault --- just ask the mods!)
“I am a logical, calm, and well reasoned voter.”
“I voted for Trump three times.”
Choose one.

His point is it's ridiculous to pretend like Trump doing this badly was not foreseeable. Hell, he's actually doing better than I thought he would. The economy is pretty good for many people.

Fair enough.
I suppose I'm too much of an optimist sometimes. (Or too dumb/naive to know better.)
“Oops! Aw gee, silly me.”
Come on, man. You voted for him three times because you wanted him to hurt people that aren’t you.
It’s a binary choice between the two major party candidates, so I don’t think there’s a strong inductive or deductive case that voting for Trump, even three times, means you support all his policies. That’s just FPTP voting systems.
Actually that has been my argument as to why it’s so obvious to vote against Trump. You don’t have to be on board with all the Democratic policies to see why Trump is so dangerous.
Edit: also, on a point of being consistent, if you’re someone who thinks that Trump supporters are quite stupid on average, it doesn’t make much sense to think that they would even know all the entailments of voting for Trump. In fact they might not know anything about what is entailed there.

Again your listing everything wrong with Trump. Im not denying that
List reasons to vote for Kamala other than she is not Trump
She had no platform, scared of the media . She might have one if the campaign was less than a month
They ain't stupid enough to vote with the crowd who think they are stupid
Trump also thinks they're stupid though.
the same crowd think trump is stupid
and i doubt they think that trump thinks they are stupid. If you need to ammend by original post to those who make it so clear to them that they think they are stupid
Oh look, it's chez to the rescue with his usual "wE sHoUlDn'T caLL pEoPlE sTuPiD" bullshit.
Do what you like mate but there is no surprise when they react in the expected way.
