Survivor: GENERAL THREAD
I wanted to post something Survivor related but realized there's no general thread about Survivor. Each thread is about
applied to be on the show again. did it about 2 years ago or so. anyone else ever apply?
I couldn’t do it. The hunger and lack of sleep would really get to me. I’d much rather play a show like Deal or No Deal Island or Traitors.

Sophie has fallen into the trap that poker players who play this show often fall into in that they have it all figured out numbers/strat wise, but they lack the social positioning to be able to get people to stick with them and they underestimate how well others have played compared with themselves. With one path she's pretty likely to be drawing dead at FTC against Savannag, Rizo and Soph and with the other she's out at 5 or 4 because the others are all closer to other people. It's always interesting to see someone like her, a Columbia MBA grad who works in corporate at youtube, be completely snookered like this.
Despite having a big winners edit all season i've been waivering a bit on how exactly she does end up winning this game based on her post merge game so far.
But I do think this is how and the path is something like the following;
-You let Steven go at 7
-With Rizo&Savannah at their most cocky you make your move at 6, Maryanne on Omar style, stealing Rizzos idol and taking him out in a 4-2
-Savannah is still ahead of you in the 'threat' pecking order to take out at 5
Youre now in a final four with Sage, Yellow Sophie and Kristina in a spot where you jury landslide all three of them

I think if she goes the other way at 5 she middles Steven/Kristina and sage/Jawan.
She's probably going to fire at 4, but she's also likely winning immunity vs that crew.

Letting Yellow Sophie go at 7 is essentially the same move as letting Steven go so its do or die now for blue Soph
Path 1) Steal Rizzos idol at 6 which guarantees you top 4 & firemaking with **** loads of final 3 win equity
Path 2) You try and steal Stevens advantage, fail as he has to play it before tribal, look like a huge idiot infront of the jury and your game is done
Path 3) You do absolutely nothing and either lose to Savannah/Steven/Rizzo or you back into a win vs Sage & Kristina
Stealing Rizo's idol seems the most obvious and best play.
She needs to flip on Riz/Sav.
Steal idol and her, Steve, Kris and sage vote out one riz/sav.
Can she her not doing that. Maybe she doesn't want to make a scene, so before tribal she tells Riz, hey I have this advantage, I'm taking your idol tonight, I don't want to make a scene, so just give it to me now and I'll take Stevens advantage instead.
Riz says no. At tribal Soph tries to take it from him, but he'd secretly given it to Savannah. Game blown up.
Sophi is honestly in such a dream spot right now, right in between alliances and with the KIP advantage that nobody else knows about. If she were a boss she'd convert this into a win, but it feels like she's just going to do nothing of substance and let Savannah or Rizo win

I think Sage might be the worst player I can remember in quite some time
Blue Sophi backing into a win vs Sage and Krirstina despite playing atrociously would be the funniest thing
As such it's 100% what I'm rooting for
Sophi could have stolen Rizo's idol and voted out whoever she wanted, instead she wasted her advantage and only got the person out that she wanted because lol Sage.
People like Sophi annoy me because they keep talking about how they need to make a big move, and I think they genuinely know they should, but then they never do it
Savannah doesn't win immunity and goes at 5, rizzo loses fire and then we have a final of sage, kristina and sophie.
Who would win in that scenario? Sophie or sage?
My first reaction to the Steven voteout was wtf, but in reality, what F3 with Steven is she winning? None. If she votes out Sophie at F6, and gets Kristina to F3 with her, who of Steven/Savanna/Rizzo are they beating? I can't see any of them.
She could at least argue Sophie has been the goat for Savannah and Rizzo if she somehow gets to a F3 with Sophie and Kristina and have some sort of prayer of a chance by basically just arguing she didn't have any firm alliances, she was a driving force on a bunch of votes.
Going back to last week. It’s definitely something that 6 people came together at final 7 unanimously. I wonder when the last time that happened was
