I live near the California border in oregon and have had to re- log in all day after that region page. But it always works the second time.

How good are the upswing Preflop charts and the hand analysis tool? How does it compare to GTOW? Are the "lacking" analysis good? If I have GTOW elite I can presumably just plug in the ranges and pot size without needing to buy any additional services?

What bothers me about the charts is that it solves for 0.2bb Ante, which is dumb, because thats not what the site has and its embedded in it.

Um, is the app still available in the Apple Store? I uninstalled it because of the issues the last couple days and now I can't find it....

In 9 years of grinding online poker for a living not once have I had this thought about a poker site. Not once.

But I honestly agree with you. I have no proof so haven't said much, but I won't play on there anymore despite the games looking 10x softer than anything else available. Getting absolutely wrekt over a pretty significant sample (and have no problem beating games on much tougher sites)

So then "just once"?

How appropriate, I was just going to post another complaint about this **** software. Sitting at 3 PLO tables, one of them randomly starts featuring two bugs:

1) Every hand strength is stated to be "high card."
2) The "Bet pot" button doesn't actually calculate the pot size, but rather puts you all in. If you try to hit it, it won't put you all in, but rather gives you an error message saying "illegal action." I found that if you scroll down the bet size to anything short of all-in, it'll correctly bet pot, even if the slider is still above pot size.

I can't even begin to imagine how incompetent you have to be to make software like this. Online poker has been around for decades--I don't know of any other site that has ever had software this buggy. WPTGold could've just purchased an existing software platform and it'd be 1000 times better than what they came up with themselves.

For people in California, are you going to keep any money on the site into the new year if they don’t make any announcements?
It seems fairly likely that they will shut down in California at a moment’s notice in January.
Hopefully the worst case is the same as New York where you have to travel out of state to redeem.

They will absolutely operate...will you have access to your account in California is the question. You don't think Gold is gonna pull the "my bad...just leave your state and withdraw" move?

If you don't believe this site is botted I think you are a huge fish who is paying zero attention. There were bots on GG, which has much better security. The bots there posted a huge WR. It was a lot higher than human regs.

There are also infinite cash game bots on both WPN and Bovada which the sites do #### all about.

Yea I think that is a bot iirc. BCM1321243 or whatever. FastHawk1251. There were some others I just can't remember right now. I haven't played 2/4 in a couple weeks.

I am running bad and had to move down. I don't think 1/2 has many bots.

Think I was winning >10bb/100 for like 110k hands and now I just lose every day. I think I've had like, two winning days in the past 4-5 weeks. The games are really soft too. I am really losing my mind. I am definitely winning versus the bot accounts.

I ran a spyware and antivirus check on my computer it's like every fish on this site can see my hand or the river. :cry:

ppl just underestimate variance in these games, if you have a good WR over long run, you will beat it, just have to keep grinding. i have played around 300k hands on there, so have seen a lot.

Really blows my mind that with all the software and technology available today people still don’t expect 100bb cash games to be filled with bots and cheaters. I’ve been printing absurd amounts of money on this site.

Same. Came here to see if anyone else thinks the RNG is rigged to create tons of actions and it seems so but don't see how anyone who has half a brain could possibly lose on this site. Been grinding every minute I have because I don't think I've ever played 1/2/4 and 2/4/8 games as soft as these and doubt this will continue for long. It's actually insane how much I'm up.......

I have 22,000 hands of PLO on the site; played mostly PLO10, PLO20 and a few hundred hands of PLO50. I've made $1,641. If you use .40 as the big blind in the calculation for bb/100, my win rate is 19bb/100.

But I must stress that us saying we are winning on the site is just as anecdotal as those who have come to the thread to talk about how they're losing. Even 100,000 hands wouldn't be enough to determine anything about true win rate, let alone if the site is rigged or not.

Can't speak to botting, though; I don't play the stakes where others say they have noticed them, but I'm sure they are there.

I have learned that words alone will not dissuade anyone from thinking a site is rigged, so not looking for an argument. Again, everything ITT so far is purely anecdotal in regard to this subject, and anyway, there is a thread dedicated to this debate instead of the site's thread.

Would you be interested in coaching me? I've been doing great at .20/.50/1 but have been struggling to move up. Partly run bad at .50/1/2 and unsure in some spots. Anyway, if you or anyone else is interested in coaching me on WPT let me know. Thanks!

re: the RNG being rigged:

playing NLHE at just the .20/.50/1.00 level, after 70k hands, i've been right around about a 10bb/hr winrate.

at times though, it can seem like EVERY SINGLE THING goes against you. this can happen for multiple weeks straight. it feels impossible to believe how your AA can lose to 99 in a 5 bet jammed preflop pot, then AKs loses to AQo, then AA loses to 46s, then KK loses to AA (obviously), then your flopped nut straight gets runner-runnered losing to a backdoor boat, and every flopped set finds some ridiculous way to lose.

i told my gf during a hot streak week: "i'm winning everything, it's insane. remind me about this when i start complaining that the site is screwing me!" - and she has, a couple times since then!

it still doesn't "feel" perfectly fair; logic would dictate that the fish would go broke pretty quickly with the speed of gameplay online. but maybe it is 100% fair? if the better players win significant money in the end, it must be somewhat of an honest game.

I've heard of winning mid/high stakes players going on 100k to 150k hand break even stretches. Benabadbeat talks about this on his youtube. Soooo, my recent 10k hand break even stretch doesn't seem so bad. Especially after a 35 buyin upswing at .20/.50/1 over 40k hands. I'm not saying I know either way if the RNG is fair but variance is way bigger than people think. Check out a variance calulator.

Pads posted a screenshot on IG of the results of 6 bots playing against each other in a lab with identical strategies for 250k hands.

One was losing >20evbb/100 and one was winning 12evbb/100 or something.

NL 400 and 800? Like 1 2 4 and 2 4 8?
