Global SNGs are making a come back. 2026 is the year of Global SNGs. Make Global SNG great again.
So ever since they announced leaving the CA market with like 2 weeks of notice I have been trying to get Global to tell me what will happen to my unused satellite tickets. Had about $900 worth of sunday scrimmage and others that there simply wasn't enough time or notice to burn through before they closed. (had a lot more than that actually but grinded out as many tickets as I could with what little time they gave us)
Unfortunately I never got an answer. I would be very careful accumulating satty tickets (or even SC$) as they are essentially exit scamming when they leave a market
Well, Global finally replied. It only took 2 and a half weeks and nearly a dozen emails and support tickets to get an answer.
And the answer is... any unused satellite tickets are forfeited. Even though they exited the market with almost no warning, allowing them to pocket all that money as profit.
Strongly recommend to avoid Global even if you are still in a state with access. They apparently have no qualms packing up and stealing your money at any second (something I'm sure we all knew was a likely possibility with a shady operator like this... unfortunately those fears have come to fruition)
Exited the market with almost no warning? You didn't need those tickets. You must have been living under a rock with no signal the last couple of months to be surprised that California Players are no longer eligible.
Ya wut. We knew California was dead in August.
Clubwpt is still available under the same model in California. Global announced their exit from the CA market in mid december
Just got an email that Global canceled/denied my cashout request for my remaining balance. Funny because they sent an email approving the request, another email saying the money had been deposited into my bank, and then another email saying it's actually cancelled lol. They said we had until Jan 15 to redeem but that may not be the case...

California Players will be allowed to play only 9 days per month. https://clubwptgold.zohodesk.com/portal/...

Ok? That has nothing to do with Global not announcing their plan for the California market until mid december, providing no clarification about remaining mtt satelite tickets despite numerous requests, and ultimately stealing player funds.
you also don't even understand the clubwpt announcement. CA players can still play every day of the year
Is anyone else getting a white screen that won't load the table when a new SNG pops up? This is only happening to me on occasion but it is annoying. After I close the white screen table and click "open table" on the tournament lobby, it just won't do anything at all. I have to log out of global completely and log back in to get the table to pop up. This means I am missing hands at all of my tables while this happens.
Any suggestions? Maybe it is a problem on my end?

Thoughts on BOL (bet online) or WPT gold? I know WPT gold is on shakey ground in cali but I think they might be my best option.
WPT Gold is banned in cali now. Bet online is fine but they don't have much traffic. Bet Online has some very soft mtts where you can do add ons vs small fields and very weak players so if you are decent mtt player you will do very well on their site. I see you have 9 days you can play in wpt gold. So you get a little over a week which is fine. And the rest of the month pick another site if you are in cali.

clear your cookies cache and use chrome as your web browser. Also check to see if your pop up blocker allows global poker to do popups. If you did some weird add on that blocks ads it might be blocking your tables when they pop up.

Gold is definitely not banned in cali
I haven't heard anything official from Global yet but Indiana recently read a bill that would ban Global if passed.
I wish politicians would mind their own business and fuck off.
Anyone do any good in the Grizzly tournaments? I haven't won a tournament over 1.5k guarantee but its a small sample size.
Global added a BBJ payout system now. You get "points" or equity in the $100,000 payout based on how many bad beats or how bad they are over the course of a month? Still trying to understand it, glad its free money though and not added on to rake.
It’s not free money, they are taking .5 bb from any pot over 30bb to fund this
Damn, that sucks. Oh well, I put someone on the leaderboard so I had a good night last night! Where did you get the specifics of this? I haven't looked hard but I can't find anything other than the leaderboard thing to click on

I'm 12th on the bad beat leaderboard. Would like top 3 obviously.
The Indiana House just passed HB 1052 that would ban sweeps stuff online. It heads to the state senate next. Global might be about done if they don't start bribing politicians.
It doesn't make sense not to bribe them at this point.

I saw a few midwest states are heading to the chopping block. So strange that we shove sports gambling down everyone's throats, and now even polymarket bets, but poker is...evil? Seems Mass is safe as the real casinos see online license as competition so they keep shutting down the vote. Weird how real casinos are indirectly allowing me to play poker.
