RIP Alla
dilbert dead
Sly Dunbar, of the reggae duo Sky n Robbie has slipped this mortal coil. RIP
Shame. Sly was the drummer (Robbie on bass) for Bob Dylan’s Infidels album.
how can i keep losing the rhythm section to the soundtrack of my life?
Catherine O'Hara 71
One of the all time great comedic actresses.
Sanford and Son was one of my favorite TV shows back in the day.. I never met Lamont/Demond Wilson of course, but a buddy gave me a ticket to a big boxing match in Vegas - Hearns vs Leonard as I recall. We were seated one row above Red Foxx (his real name was John Sanford). He kept up a hilarious commentary throughout the fight π
Edit - the fight was Hagler vs Hearns in 1985 - memory must be failing.

Marvelous!
Just found out Stuart "Disco Stu" Layt died a couple of years ago from cancer, aged 40.
I really only know him from this article which I'll reread on occasion https://www.cracked.com/article_14982_th...
RIP Chuck Negron
Cake guitarist Greg Brown (wrote The Distance, among others)
I have a vivid memory of riding around the Bay Area in the early 90's, hearing Rock N Roll Lifestyle on some awesome radio station, probably out of Berkeley, and thinking it was too cool for us.
RIP
Never watched it, but Dawson of Dawson's Creek. RIP James Van Der Beek
For some reason, if you google you tube for 'Here Comes A Regular' you get a bunch of references to Dawson's Creek.
His death is a sad reminder that so many in the states are just one health event away from having their families financially ruined.
James Van Der Beek, 48
Never watched his stuff except Donβt Trust the Bβ- in Apartment 23, but was always a name growing up. Way too early.
" Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23" doesn't work without him. Such a great role.
pretty amazing, he had insurance and made millions of dollars over the years
although our medical system is clearly a total failure, it does seem like a lot of it is getting bailed out for terrible management of finances
RIP The Great Santini aka Gus aka ad infinitum
What a ride!
