Las Vegas Fine Dining Thread
Hey,
So I'm compiling a list of places I need to go to, never been before but I have so far been told that we should hit
man that looks good af, thank you wj for taking one for the team 😃
Wellington looks vvg
Soup is French Onion?
Also…not including sticky toffee pudding pic is #notcoolman
What was the price for the 3 courses?
Yep — onion & ale soup [emoji1]
And lol fair point… not including the sticky toffee pic was totally not cool, my bad.
It was $94.99 for the signature 3-course meal they have on the menu. If it fits your budget, I honestly think it’s excellent value. You can add a wine pairing for $42 per person.
I’d never had beef Wellington or sticky toffee pudding before, and I came away with a newfound appreciation for both — very grateful to finally explore dishes I’ve wanted to try for a long time without feeling guilty about the cost.
From what I understand, both dishes are British in origin: Wellington is traditionally tied to England, and sticky toffee pudding comes from the UK as well. Is that so? Forgive me if I’m wrong.
Service was fantastic too. I did order a wine and the only pilsner on the menu — really enjoyed the pilsner.
Looks like you got a great Wellington. Sometimes they are cooked more than I want but that looks perfect. My wife is a French onion soup connoisseur, she says that particular Ramsay one is super high beer notes but is a nice change of pace from the French ones she prefers.
Nitpicking here, only for the sake of people knowing what to expect. I’ve been to this Ramsay restaurant and had the exact same meal.
It’s decent. Nothing about it will be bad, nothing will blow your mind. I wouldn’t qualify it as “fine dining” just due to setting and cuisine. It’s a celebrity chef restaurant with an open front typical of a lot of these types of places in Vegas.
Still, if you’re looking for this type of meal, it’s a good option and I don’t think anyone would leave unhappy. And any Ramsay restaurant should be delivering you a good Wellington.

I’m heading to Bavettes in a couple weeks, what are the best non-steak and non-seafood dishes? I heard their menu is incredibly underrated.
I’ve heard the loaded potato and Mac & cheese is good, but what about for mains?
Tossing up between the French dip and the fried chicken (LOL)
Also went to Golden Steer on my most recent trip, was fantastic. Pics below. I preferred it to Barry’s Downtown Prime. The salt and pepper they sell at Golden Steer was a great souvenir.
Had the tomahawk, lobster tail, and mushrooms. Everything great

My friend said the pork chop was delicious.

Can someone please do an Alinea TR?
Braseria by Edo opened yesterday
not sure what to think about a spanish scented french place when his purely spanish place that closed was amazing.
he is running a similar spanish take as 'edo' in seattle called 'la loba' if you find yourself there. tentative plans to go for the first time this june.
Alinea sounded great until I found out it’s $595
so far above my limit even for celebrating a life milestone

LPM closing down is an absolute travesty.

Too bad we never gave it a 2nd (or maybe 3rd) chance. The food was good. The drinks were not. This was when it first opened, so that was probably it. With how highly it's talked about, I wish we would have tried it again.

We are booked for BVI next year. No direct flights. So we will either end up going through St Thomas or Miami. If Miami, then we might hit up LPM. Although I would probably want some Cuban food.
I rarely comment on pics of restaurant food, but those first two pics are making me drool profusely.
