Yeah, and the bolded is nonsensical on its face. First, if you need the halftime show to personally validate you as a white person, you are a psychological chandelier. I can't imagine being that mentally fragile. Second, he didn't attack white people. He didn't do anything that should have felt alienating to white people. If someone singing in Spanish feels like an attack to you, that's very much a you problem. Third, no matter what language he sings in, Bad Bunny clearly has a lot of English speaking fans. I don't see any way that he could have been this commercially successful in the United States if that weren't the case. Fourth, even if most of his fans are Spanish speaking, who cares? A lot of Spanish speakers watch the Super Bowl. We've had endless halftime shows that were aimed more at English speaking audiences, including plenty of good ole boys and classic rock acts that cater to middle aged white guys. Does one halftime show in which the performer sings in Spanish really augur the end of the world and demand a collective pants-shitting from the MAGAverse?
