Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan

I ended up with 16% (112 drafts). Just did a 30 day cool down on UD so I'm locked out until the next month. We'll see what free agency looks like and if I want to add any more.

Pretty happy with my overall exposures. Some that I wish I had more of

Ladd

TB WRs (Egbuka, Godwin, and Jalen)...especially if they are possibly losing Evans and Otton

BTJ

Worthy/Royals...especially if Rice misses a bunch of time

Haha some of my exposures and targets so far are on the opposite end of yours.

I think McMillan and Godwin are smashes right now. I'll probably start mixing in some Tez too. Of course, still a chance Evans and/or Otton return, but if they don't, wheels up. I like Egbuka too, but he's not cheap.

I'm still not sure what to think of Ladd or BTJ. The post below gave me some pause on LAC. Of course, personnel, game flows, etc. can all dictate season by season strategies. Harbaugh and McDaniel are both sharp. But it didn't make me feel great when winning weeks 15-17 is all about game flow, offenses being pushed, and top percentile outcomes.

Worthy/Royals are interesting, but the real smash is Kelce, especially if Rice has potential to miss time.

Somebody sell me on Javonte in the 5th for best ball. Assuming he's back with Dallas in the same role, I think it's fine for managed.

Bastard, just give me Hurts haha.

Final team. Went for balanced stacking. I like it.

I ended up with 11% so I'm not crazy overweight. Just felt like he fit on some of those zero or anchor RB teams.

This was my R5 exposure. Not a whole lot to get super excited about.

He does. I think he's fine for advancing, which is why I prefer him in managed over best ball, assuming he stays in Dallas.

But with today's knowledge, I think I'd prefer to see Judkins, Swift, Mondre, and maybe even Warren on my team in weeks 15-17.

And I'm definitely chasing a lot of receivers/QBs in that range for weeks 15-17.

Big differences in adps between DK and Underdog . Parker Washington goes in the 5th round on DK.

Holy hell haha. I wasn't excited taking him at 80. I see the path, but 5th is crazy.

I prefer Meyers or Thomas jr over him by far .

Did a DK team. Might do 3 each weekend. Maybe more depending on how I do in DFS. The only rule is sticking to ADP until the 150 range, and flipping a coin before each draft to determine if I go 2 or 3 QBs.

Reek at 115 on DK is just dumb. Like the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

100th draft, coincidentally also the average age of my players

Javonte gets his deal with the Cowboys. Please send him to the 4th.

I prefer Washington to Meyers, but I get the argument for BTJ. I haven't taken much Meyers or BTJ so far. Either way, Washington is much better in the 7th/8th than the 5th lol.

Washington is a really good fit for Coen and Trevor. Throw in a year 3 breakout, and I want to have some shares.

Tried something a little different on DK. Think it's a decently balanced team.

Lamar, Stroud, JJM

Gibbs, Tuten, Monangai, Price, Keaton, CRod

Nico, Rice, Egbuka, Godwin, Doubs, Teslaa, Keon, Noel

Fannin, Andrews, Hockenson

RIP Rondale Moore

RIP Rondale Moore

Heard suspected suicide. So sad. RIP.

Went hero RB bc the board just played out that way.

Did I wait too long on wr6-7?

Looks good to me.

I've been experimenting with building out my starting lineup first on a few teams. Not in any specific order, but once I have 3 WRs, I don't touch them again until I have a QB, TE, and 2 RBs. Then I'll draft a RB or WR for the flex.

I’ve made that strategy more a part of my overall core of building, especially with the current landscape. But I’ll happily take the flex RB/WR whenever.

I’m not a fan of forcing any strategy, prefer to let the board dictate

I’m ok with pulling up qb sometimes, but TE I’m completely ok waiting on and hammering late. That doesn’t mean I won’t take a TE earlier, I just don’t want to force it

Yea, I should clarify. I'm not pulling anyone up to fill out my starting roster, or at least I haven't had to yet in the few builds I've done. This was the last one I did, and everything fell into place. I normally would've (and probably should've) taken a RB at 87, but I elected to take a falling Herbie and just stop at 2 QBs.

What ppl are doing at qb in the big board today is ridiculous. 15qbs in the first 8 rds, 2 teams one w Lamar and one w Allen have 3

Had to take Nix/Baker at the 8/9 turn… gross haha
