Permad from acr for not being able to verify identity. They said there were discrepancies but never gave an example. Insane. My name is ****ing jacob kessler and im from illinois and i just want to play some ****ing poker wtfLiterally a micro stakes grinder for a decade and i get banned because my passport and multiple forms of ID arent enough because i dont have utility bills
That's just step 0/2 for the verification. The rest of the process is quite overwhelming for anyone, even for someone playing professionally.
I deposited in January, mainly to use the sportsbook but also perhaps play some poker as the deposit bonus was appealing. My betting activity was quickly identified as non-recreational, and I no longer had access to the sportsbook. The poker bonus was still valid until the beginning of March, so I played a little here and there before withdrawing the funds. I had verified the account in the software, so I got the money shortly after.
Then 10 days later I receive an email from game integrity:

Although my account is empty, I send them the video, thinking I might as well if there is even a small chance I will deposit again in the future. I tell them that I haven't played poker in many years, so I don't have a usual playing schedule etc.. In total I estimate the total number of hands I played on ACR was somewhere between 2000 and 5000 (about breaking even post-bonus/RB). ACR then replies with this:

I can appreciate poker sites being this thorough when it comes to game integrity, but asking this from someone playing recreationally seems insane to me. Unless I was picked completely randomly, there must be thousands of other players it makes more sense to verify for the sake of game integrity than me.
Since I don't have any money on there, I will not re-deposit just to finish the verification, so I assume they will just close my account. Just so anyone can see what you potentially can face to have your account completely verified.
^This is completely ridiculous. I can see them asking this from someone who completely crushes while playing many tables but in the above case seems pretty lol. Especially given the fact guy just successfully withdrew.
Way to shy away potential customers wpt.

No doubt they have strong internal identifiers to indicate that he may be test-running a bot, and that is simply the standard e-mail they send out to such account-holders before, usually, bans and confiscations.
Assuming he's not running a bot, he's exactly the type of player who should complete the requirements, so that they could review their identifiers to be able to make better selections of possible botters in the future.
ACRPoker, wheres the micro heads-up tables? i wanna play headsup NLHE micro.
it should have been easy to get an address verification. just get a mobile account set up. unless that dont count, then damn because that is one of my plans in the future. The extra verification with the videos isn't too much to ask. i think anyone wanting to play and withdraw would do atleast that much. Even the government required live video call to verify identity, let alone online casino with money on the line and a reputation to hold.

My good buddy went through the same process, even though he is a losing rec at the Micros!!! And I can attest he does not cheat/use suspicious software etc.

No doubt? I probably mean maybe they have but if u read the post above me it states they did this also to a loosing micro reg so im not sure they are on such a high level security wise as u assume.

From a sites perspective yes. But why should he personally want to do it? What is the benefit for him to put in such a big effort if he doesnt really need the site?

The benefit is that they'll allow him to play there again once he has proved he's not running a bot. (He stated that he has already sent them one video on the off chance that he might want to deposit there again.)
I was thinking that not only would he benefit if he did decide to want to play there again, but other players might also benefit, if they did change their criteria, by not being asked to go through that same arduous process, this leading to there being more non-botters against whom he could play.
question about ACRPoker rake.
is the rake cap per person?
for instance up to $1/$2 rake is capped at $0.50 for HU pot, but thats $0.50 cap per person right?
Also setup a HU micro NLHE tables please
they are performing an update.
But why don't they send an email the day before to notify players? They used to do that until a few months ago, and it was really helpful.

Very good explanation, this makes perfect sense.
I'm grinding high-stakes tournaments two days a week. I can't decide on Thursday and Sunday, or Saturday and Sunday. I am taking this seriously for a while.
I have been playing on WPN for years.
The site is becoming unplayable when every fkn breakeven or even losing sh*t reg is using a seat script and I can’t get a table because I want to follow rules and play fair (which I will continue to do). This needs to be fixed ASAP.
Anybody hyped for the weed-themed poker series?
Wish they had more events during the day but appreciate the marketing
After 11 pm the mtt schedule goes horrible wish they could improve it some

This is a real problem, not sure why it's gone unaddressed for so long.
Is it really so far for them to detect a consistent pattern on inhuman seating quickness?
I took a shot with 2k on some 5-10plo5, 10-20plo5, and even some 25-50plo5..
I didn’t play much but I ran it up to 6500 then back down to 4500.
Since I hadn’t played in years I decided it was best to cash out to make sure I still could.
I had cashed out years ago no problem no questions asked…
Then I went to cash out it said within an hour for btc. Ok.
Sent the first time… rejected. Second and third .. rejected rejected.
Ok start emailing and doing live chat. Get told literally 4 different AI answers for why I can’t cash out. When did acr get rid of the phone center and the chat with actual agents. Not like it was useful but not getting an immediate and correct answer was life tilt.
Finally I decide to verify my account just in case and did that.. verified and still didn’t work.
Then finally I get an email saying I have to play 10% of the 2000 deposit.
I just don’t understand how I didn’t rake that much. Come to find out I only raked $51 and gotten back $14. For comparison at poker bros I would have easily raked 400 and gotten back 200 minimum off my play.
So either poker bros rake is astronomically higher than ACR or acr is doing something w their rake.
I don’t know if I’m more shocked by the cash out rule or the fact i didn’t rake at all considering I was all in a couple times at pretty big stakes.
This is Just a heads up there is a rollover requirement on winnings on acr.
Direct quote from acr:
“..we are unable to process your payout until you have generated 10% rake from deposits into the account”
I’ve played on BOL which is probably the closest direct competitor to acr and they never have this kind of rollover. I also play on the apps and no one requires this.
Also the only rollover for poker I’ve ever heard of was 1x rollover and that’s because of money laundering. When I go all in and run up a stack I figured that was enough play for any potential rollover.
TLDR: just a heads up to the community that you can’t just deposit double up and cash out. You need to rake 10% of your deposit.
Yes, and just so you guys know another hu: flush beats straight but straight beats sets. And after an MTT starts there's a period when you can still enter called 'late registration'. You're welcome!
to play devils advocate, does the fact that they'll go after a micro grinder for game integrity stuff speak to a certain consistency in game integrity? (not just going after higher stakes or sunrun accounts)
Did they completely neuter the MTT schedule after the update this morning??
what happened to 100 NL blitz? it used to run all the time but doesnt run at all anymore
are these still available? It says it's "My Account > Rewards > Chips and Drip Shop", but there is no such tab

Yeah but everything in here is a scam. Huge markup on tournament tickets compared to just redeeming points for cash and buying a ticket.
Seems backwards - they should encourage players to spend on tickets instead of cash imo, what what do I know.
