President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

You're probably right. But probably also true for every major party Presidential candidate in my lifetime (b. 1957).

You are incorrect yet again. Trump is orders of magnitude worse than any major party presidential candidate in American history.

Voting Trump was a massive error in judgment, one you obviously are still incapable of taking responsibility for. You’re such a pathetic coward.

Obviously.

Pubs voted for gerrymandering, so it looks like the Dems are just appeasing them.

What year did this vote take place?

And since it passed, why is there still gerrymandering?

I suspect it was a house vote that never passed in the senate or even voted on

Thanks for your opinion but most of America thought he was better than moron Kamala.

I think Trumps 3 biggest campaign promises were

Close the border and achieved
Affordability Big Fail
No new Wars Huge fail

Based on the last two he will go down as one of the worst Presidents .

I certainly don't think that Kamala is a moron. Quite the contrary, I think she is very intelligent. 99.9% chance she has a higher IQ than Trump.

You don’t need to be very intelligent to have that. You might even qualify. At least you can play chess quite well.

Democratic voters did not like Kamala - for Trump to win the popular vote and the electoral is a sign the Democrats dropped the ball and their candidate never stood a chance.

Thank you! (?)

Hope y'all watch me play chess on my non-monetized twitch channel. (Don't want to violate the Self-Promotion Clause, so y'all have to guess the name of my channel.)

Fair enough. But that doesn't mean she's a moron, which is what I was responding to.

I disagree that she 'never stood a chance.' According to The Young Turks, Harris was polling quite well when promoting popular progressive ideas, but slid in the polls when she was forced to do the bidding of the donors instead.

Well duh. Trump got more votes, so obviously most of America chose him. And they chose poorly. Inexcusably poorly. Harris, or Clinton in ‘16 (or even a rotting log) would have been a better choice.

Obviously most Americans are idiots or *******s. Or are you suggesting most Americans are smart and nice?

Which is evidence that most Americans are idiots or *******s, because you’d have to be one or the other to EVER have supported Trump.

Trump’s myriad personal flaws make him unelectable. Those flaws (immaturity, petulance, thirst for vengeance, malignant narcissism, etc) are starting to reveal themselves more and more, but they’ve always been there. Unfortunately it’s too late to stop him and now he’s started a war. And he has the nuclear codes. So stupid to choose him. But choose him America did. Which is evidence of America’s demise.

Why didn't the Democrats have a coalition of Billionaires who control most of the news, control social media, and are willing to spend billions on propaganda to indoctrinate vulnerable individuals to act against their own self interests to the point that they are willing to sink their own ship to own their perceived enemy neighbors?

Are they stupid?

Dunno about most Americans but just finished reading the article about Emily Hart and we can safely conclude anyone who has ever voted for Trump or considers himself/herself ''MAGA'' is r3tarded.

What popular progressive ideas did she initially promote and then what did she promote that you say her donors pushed? I am sure she had some things buried on her website, but the only thing I remember her promoting was the idea that trump is evil and she is not trump.

Then they get mad when they get called low information voters.

I think his big promises were (no particular order):

close the border (done)
drastically reduce illegal immigration (done)
drastically cut racism/DEI (done)
drill baby drill (done)
cut the size and scope of the govt (major progress but hopefully not done)
raise tariffs (done)
keep taxes low (done)
no tax on SS (drastically cut taxes for olds, so didn't make SS tax free but has a very similar effect)
affordability (massive step in the right direction to cut size/scope of govt and reduce handouts, but hopefully not done yet)
end russia/ukraine (failed so far)

1. Increase Minimum Wage
2. Paid Family Leave
3. Raise Corporate Taxes

Establishment Dems don't like those things (according to Cenk and Ana).

1871.

Kidding. 2021.

Because every Republican voted against it in the Senate.

Remember Trump over the summer talking about picking up 5 seats in Texas by redrawing and said he's "entitled" to those seats? Republicans said nothing. Now it's a big deal, lol.
