Calling what he's been doing the past 2 decades (punting hundreds of thousands of USD worth of Finnish government money at micro stakes online poker) a "poker journey" is severely misguided.
@RoadToPro - the best thing you could possibly do for this thread and for Paisting is to shut it down. It serves no purpose except to further swirl Paisting down the proverbial toilet and exacerbate his mental illness and delusions.
You'd be doing him a huge favour.
He's very clearly not capable of a proper back-and-forth or really any sort of rational thought or critical thinking. He posts his monthly results of losing every cent he has and then spazzes out at anyone offering him advice or trying to talk to him in any sort of way. This thread has been open for over 7 years and he has not displayed a single ounce of decency the entire time, despite many people offering help and advice completely free of charge.
Keeping this thread open is detrimental to Paisting in so many ways and he should be removed from any avenue that allows him to be anywhere within the poker community, starting here, with closing this thread.
Read the first few pages of this thread. He has lost his life savings, his family connections and everything in his life to this game. He eats at maximum one meal per day and truly thinks he's a "grinder". But even beyond that, he's a complete jerk to anyone and everyone here, along with the players at the tables he has tricked himself into thinking are 'attacking him'. His delusions around this game have cost him untold amounts of time and money and keeping this thread open and enabling this insanity is flat out the wrong thing to do.
At some point 2+2 has to realize it has a responsibility to step in and do what it can to mitigate situations like this, and this is a prime example of one of those times.
He should not have access to online poker or these forums for his own good, and the mods here should start by putting an end to this thread and his account here.

But as soon as one of those fish makes a thread its unethical?
And if you read this thread its not like the people are urging him to play higher stakes or are encouraging him to play more. In fact he's probably been told the cold hard truth here more often than anywhere else. The advice just falls on deaf ears.
If you think its unethical that very bad players like paisting are losing money in the game and you shouldnt be playing poker in the first place

I think it's unethical that a forum is still after 7 years letting a very clearly mentally ill person who is prone to extreme delusions have a thread like this since the attention that it's garnering him is a prime motivator for his self destruction. Most of the people in this thread are perpetuating his delusions as well with sarcastic remarks like "Yeah, the RNG is without a doubt rigged against you", and Paisting, as we can see, obviously doesn't have the part of his brain intact that allows for understanding sarcasm or irony, so he thinks people here are being sincere.
Not to mention he's a Grade A arsehole who should probably be an assisted living facility, and it would give me quite a bit of pleasure to see him get banned on here and this thread taken down.
But even just speaking as an objective observer, I believe that he should not have access to this forum for his own well-being.

I’m not reading all that, but as of right now the ball is in Paisting’s court. If he crosses or even toes any lines, yes, the thread will be locked between posts. That includes both trolling and obvious rage baiting

Perhaps he went broke, and couldn't afford to play in April. In February he lost $1450, and in March he lost $2300.
A little part of my brain is hopeful that Paisting is about to make a glorious return to the thread with a graph showing that, in his time away, he's taken on board all comments and is now a solid 6bb/100 winner for April.
Like most i hate to admit im wrong, but i have a small inkling that i may, just may, have been a touch over hopeful here. C'mon Paisting, update us all!
