True, but I find great humor in the fact that Trump himself intensely hates all of the Mongos of his base. Nobody hates the average Trump supporter more than the man himself. For sure, even a sliver of Trump voters switching their vote would make a huge difference. My point is that you are far more likely to have a noticeable increase in the stay at home lefties voting D than the trumpers (who some are perturbed with what Trump is doing) jump ship and be willing to let a liberal run the country. That just isnt happening because gas prices went up.
Right. But we are talking about regretful Trump voters, the hardest nut to crack that is sufficient but not necessary for Trump to lose today. Of course turnout from non Trumpers and Trumps historically low approval among independents makes the case even more solid.
But again, the issue is that most of that goes away when Rubio runs and dems are so hated right now that they can't even beat the easiest boss in the game.
