I evaluate everything on its merits. The hardest thing about doing that in 2026 is finding sources on both sides which don't suck and which keep some kind of integrity.

There are few things in life that a country club Republican loves more than "you're poor!" style trolling on behalf of some rich creep who they will never meet and who would happily throw them in a cage if it earned them a few more dollars.
Not that greasefirewest actually likes Elon or wants to see Elon's preferred policies enacted; no, for him, politics, and everything else, is about making sure people know that his life is less economically miserable than a critical number of other human beings. A combo of nihilism and grievance.
It's extremely Trumpian, which is pretty funny given my understanding that this guy is an anti-Trump conservative of some kind.
I would most certainly NOT trade my life for Elon's if given the opportunity. This will surely baffle many of those whose entire lives are built around the hoarding of money.
Elon's life seems quite miserable to me. The guy very desperately wants to stop being seen as the world's least cool pedophile, and I think he knows that no amount of additional wealth will get him there, so he's left with his very sweaty trolling of the poors on his website and additional failed attempts to get to whichever island Jeffery Epstein's primary protege owns today.
