I saw another player being booted/having to sit down anew/post again for like 3 hands in a row, but no one where it was every hand like me... Both tables where this happened, was at the 2k CNY NLHE cash game tables, if that had something to do with it... The new software looks neat though, if not!!!

Where can WPT Global support be reached outside of emails, do they have a rep on their Discord?

As of the latest update, WPT removed coin exchange.
How can one play in Yuan ?

It seems that WPT removed the ability to buy in in MTTs if you don´t have Yuan in your account, NO LONGER converting your dollars to the other currency !
What can one do to play those MTTs now ?

Thanks for any input you may provide

Whats happen with WPT Global app? - currently is using most computing power of my CPU. Its impossible to play. It was caused by last update. Does anyone know how to deal with it?

Often I had problems with multi tabling.
After some time I searched for the problem, and it came up as WPT hosting some sort of internet page as lobby´s and game windows, if you stack a lot of them it will slow down a lot, consuming your RAM power. I advise to close any replayers and lobby in case you are playing MTT.

You can test it that if you close the client, the lag will dissapear, so it has to be that.

Although with the new update/software, I feel the game much smoother!
Also, with the last update, I cannot convert dollars into Yuan :( !
Any tips ?

I can't open even a single table since the last update. After the update WPT Global lobby uses 75%–90% of my CPU. Before the latest update everything was working fine.

I strongly advise all recreational players to avoid playing until these technical issues are resolved.

This scam room has not even sent out a notification to players, although they at least acknowledge the issue. Naturally, there will be no compensation.

My action buttons disappear on average a couple of times per hour.

I can't open even a single table since the last update. After the update WPT Global lobby uses 75%–90% of my CPU. Before the latest update everything was working fine.

My GPU driver needed update, so right now everyting works.

I have other question: Is it possible to disable certain irritatins sounds in WPT Global client on PC, like applause after winning the pot or a tune that you need to listen when you wait for starting Spins game. I now there is a switch in settings that can disable all sounds, but I need to mute only these two irritating sounds. In the previous version of the client it was possible to find mp3 file with certain sound and delete it - now, I cannot find these files.

I won a ticket to the $110 Crazy Sunday PKO $100K GTD as part of my prize playing the WPT $55 Daily Crown Mystery Bounty 40K.

The Crazy Sunday PKO $100K GTD linked by the ticket starts for me in Pacific Standard Time at 01:30 (AM) which means I cannot play it.

Can anyone tell me: does this mean I won a useless ticket or is there any other way to use this ticket ?

wtf happened with the software, it's like everything was downgraded, you click open tables in bb and it still shows you the table in Yuan and you have to click the stack, tables at 0/8 that are "dismissed" don't disappear from lobby so it's a huge cluster**** of 10 empty games where only 2 of them you can sit or something, when you enter the bet in bb it doesn't change the number on the bet button, also feels like it's been overrun by china bots, similar to those on ggpoker

They made a huge update software wise. Everything is smoother and finally does not lag anymore when i tried it some days ago.

Wasnt playing cash though, only 2 spins and a tournament but to me it felt like a 100 % improvement.

According to some threads here bots are an issue there yes and i wouldn't trust them a 100 %, same as GG.

Hi,

I will preface this message by saying this is my opinions based on my personal experience. I am going to send the messages between me and wpt's security team so you can reach your own conclusion. Also please let me know if some of the information I provided is inaccurate I am just going off word of mouth for the app games due to me never actually playing on one I can't be fully certain. Also not all these accounts are bots some could possibly be multiaccounting / using huds / notes etc. They are cheating either way and these tools give you a huge advantage against a player pool that doesn't have access to these tools and bypassing kyc.

My opinion:
To be honest I feel like wpt either has a security team of people that don't even know the rules of poker or the bare minimum of poker and there ai system is non existent. Or they are allowing bots to play for personal gain. There possibly other reasons would love to hear it.

Reasons behind my opinion:
- They have a strong kyc process but for players playing on one of there skins / apps eg WePoker / PokerKing Asia they have next to no kyc and can make unlimited accounts there's even yt vids of people using huds and bots on these apps. Also wepoker/PokerKing Asia is advertised on botting sites as one of there main options. On nztpoker one of the most popular botting websites the first 2 apps they advertise are Pokerking and Wepoker which both have access to wptglobal games unless I am mistaken.

- Also on yt shorts AlexScott mentions at the end of them "what this means is we have the safest games anywhere online https://www.youtube.com/shorts/t4IfKmVb2... .why don't botting sites even advertise sites like pokerstars / ggpoker and many of the main actually established websites. So until they add kyc or strengthen there kyc on these apps there's just always going to be bots coming into the games constantly.

- WPT reg locks you preventing you from being able see other tables so it makes it next to impossible to distinguish from bots and legitimate players. Also since players have 0 hand history's or notes this forces you to fully rely on there next to inexistent security team. When people on there app skins games have HUDS , Notes , Hand history's because they don't enforce these rules on them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Su-DfJ1S... This video is a example of what you need to compete with also the comments are asking how to multicount etc.

- I myself at only 5-10-20 5 reported over 120 bots in around 1-2 months this doesn't include other stakes at all so probably a lot more and some of them where playing 48hours straight after my report before getting banned if they have this so called "ai" catching bots surely it would pick up on bots playing 48 hours+ straight. What makes this ai anticheat even more unbelievable it doesn't even pickup blatant bots like 8 accounts running the same stats with in 1-4% brand new accounts all buying in with the same amount, some of them even have the same profile pictures. If I can pick up these bots before there poker anti cheat system and there full security team with only vpip / pfr buy in amounts etc. What is my rake actually going into, you guys have some of the worst software in poker and one of the worst if not the worst security.

- After reporting around 120 bots I realized it wasn't worth it around $3.5 per reported bot in reward from there "RIP program reward integrity in poker" is just not worth the time.

- They also fired a lot of there staff even though they have all this cheating and botting going on https://www.poker.org/latest-news/overha... . Also never disclosed with anyone not even warning players about these issues or giving awareness to them.

Tips on catching these bots if you are not reg locked.
1. Players with Chinese names means that are most probably playing through one of the before mentioned apps because you can't make Chinese named accounts on wptglobal and also playing only 1 table because you can't multi-table on these apps
2. They normally buy in with 100bbs and only rebuy after losing all of it or left with %20.
3. They are normally brand new accounts with 3000 or less hands.
4. A lot of these accounts have the same stats +-5%. They also play long hours like at least 14 hours. Normally around 28 vpip 22 pfr but adapt slightly sometimes.

I am only sending this publicly because going through [email][email protected][/email] isn't replying to my emails. I tried to contact support through there discord nothing they can help with and said that I have to wait for them to respond . Also there last response was trying to downplay all the effort put into finding these accounts.
"Please understand that each submission undergoes a rigorous internal investigation process—which naturally takes time—and that many of the accounts were also flagged by our own automated algorithms as part of this ongoing review." If they where flagged why didn't the accounts get frozen then, you just kept letting people play against them?.

At this point I just want to know what kind of time frame are effected(including myself) players expected to wait for reimbursement. Do we get reimbursed the full amount the bots took from us or confiscated funds that you could calm to be anything. But I am assuming you didn't let them withdraw because if you ai system flagged them surly you blocked them from being able to withdraw.

In the future I might make a video going fully into this but short on time atm just want to get this out so others don't loose thousands to bots like me and other players have. Looking forward to a proper response.

Another thing is other problem that for sure put the WPTG player on an inferiority and disadvantage situation. We can´t put colors and notes to the players while the asian guys/cheaters who create accounts every day via Asian skins could. That thing doesnt even allow us to mark any player, taking any note on any suspicius plays or whatever. I´m happy with the exclusion of the

In Asian skins called PokerKing, players can note colors and some words as well. This is a huge disavantage for WPT players....

Not quite. From 1st August we'll no longer be paying revenue share to affiliate partners on NLHE and Short Deck cash game play, on stakes where the player is classified as highly-skilled. (We're still paying rev share on all other game formats like Omaha, MTT, and spins, and on NLHE and Short Deck stakes where the player is not classified as highly-skilled).

2 weeks notice at the bottom of a random 2+2 post is a grotesque way to handle this news. This is a 4 figure per month loss (or more) to a lot of pros.

Some affiliates who offer rakeback to pros (something we always strongly discouraged) will therefore have to adjust the deals they have given to players.

Who do you think are the main customer base for affiliates?

Your affiliates are incentivised to get players onto your site, not consider if they are winning players or not. Otherwise, why would they be incentivised to push them to your site and not another?

How is an affiliate going to adjust a deal to anything but zero when you aren't paying rakeback as per the intial agreement?

As others have mentioned, rakeback is a big reason why a lot of people are playing on the site. You are about to nuke your pool, or lead people down the road of burner accounts. This is evidently bad for the site, fun players and pros alike.

There are various reasons for this but essentially, pros are, on the whole, winning much more on WPTG before rewards than they do on other networks after rewards. It is not necessary for us to further incentivise pros to play in games that they are already crushing. The money that we previously spent doing this will be allocated to other promos and rewards.

Of course, and this is the trade off for them not taking their business elsewhere due to limitations enforced by your site re: software that can be used.

You can't have your cake and eat it. Your company policy makers should realise this is a fundamental part of why the player pool plays on your site (the juice is worth the squeeze), but whoever is handling the company direction is just seeking short term windfall in the shape of "let's just take all the pros rakeback". It is an awful look and does not instill confidence from your player base that WPTG is a trustworthy place to leave your funds.

All these promos and rewards sound good on paper but rarely translate to anything resembling satisfying for pros, and are nothing but some bells and whistles for the fun players. Pros will likely hate it. Fun players won't care about it and WPTG pockets the difference.

Pros keep the action going 24/7 and create rake for the site. They want rakeback they can set their clock to each month.

Anything else is just an angle for immediate short term profit from WPTG, and giving out less money long term. We've seen other sites try this out and it never ends well for them.

If not - just sit down, you're guaranteed a great game and tables at 10/20/40 fill pretty quickly.

It is very well known now that once you are tagged as a winning player you get segregated.

When starting games previously they would fill up fast. Now my table selection is limited the only tables I start up rarely fill up, or I can only see 1 table running with 8 regs. I have tried in all time slots of the day since my tables got limited and it's the same every time so it is clearly not a "table configuration" issue. I have numerous friends who are regs who have ran into the same issue once they were long standing winners on the site, and many many posters here have advised you of the same league of issues. Not one of them had the issue initially once they signed up.

Making out an internal policy to be a bug is egregious and again does not instill confidence in WPTG as a trustworthy site.

I sincerely hope WPTG will review their stance on these matters for all parties concerned....
