Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

thinkbluepoker keeps finding ways to not play poker and instead plays bacarrat after his shifts.

Another one of his challenges that he gave up already.

I actually think he is better off playing bacarrat than poker so in a way he's making the +ev decision.

He is a trainwreck when it comes to poker,no doubt. It will snow in hell before he gets through 1000 hours of cashpoker in a year.

Also he complains alot about being tired, having headaches, not sleeping well and so on. Try to stop drinking sugar soda on every break and consume fried unhealthy fast food for every meal dude, that will very likely help alot.

The terms "hobo", "tramp", and "bum" are sometimes considered offensive because they can perpetuate harmful stereotypes. A hobo is a migratory laborer who travels and is willing to work, while a tramp travels but avoids work if possible.

Rice would get more views if he changed his name to Poker Hobo.

I don't know, I'd classify his as more of a tramp than a hobo.

I don't know your background; or even if this is a serious post. But (a) a retiree should have healthcare and (b) $2,000/month budget is f*cked.

Healthcare is my biggest concern as I plan an early retirement. I'm in shape (workout 4-5 times a week, hike/backpack 2-3 weekends a month (climbing mountains is my jam and what I plan to spend the early years of my retirement doing), and weigh 140 pounds. Yet, somehow, was blessed with Type-2 diabetes a decade or so ago . . . (yes, I know, Twitter

I dont know what state you live in but someone making 2k a month(side note, probably Rice's best month) is probably low enough to qualify for medicaid. I think in CO its like 30k or less and you get fully covered healthcare. My cousin is on it and its honestly better than my paid plan. ER is $1, all scripts and dr appt $1, it takes a few weeks sometimes if he needs to make an appointment for something but not always. He does side gigs and poker and mostly just lives off money he won a few yrs ago. I think all states under ACA have to have some medicaid program, might not be as robust as CO but worth looking into.

Im pretty sure once youre 65 you qualify for Medicare. Its rare to not fall under this. You can get supplementary coverage as Medicare isn't premium, but its functional. The best healthcare is preventative. Live a healthy life, don't let injuries or illness fester, don't put yourself in high risk scenarios etc.

Its kinda ****ed up we're all watching this guy putter thru life never improving his situation or taking agency. We all struggle in different ways but for me its a good reminder of the importance of self reflection and actively moving forward in life. It seems the population is inevitably approaching a crunch where tens of millions of ppl will hit old age and have nothing and we will have to address it. Public funded retirement homes etc

Bac has a very low house edge. There are zero strategical decisions to make besides bankroll control. Technically anyone who is a losing poker player likely is more +ev firing bac since you're only a very slight loser in it. If I was going this route I'd probably sacrifice a bit of ev and play side bets as binking the 250:1 is life

ELD is probably saving the Nomadic pack loadout for his newsletter but I speculate that it should contain enough provisions for six days. The Nomad should plan on staying five days but if Friday night rates drop, simply call CET reservations and add an additional night and then have one day supplies in reserve.

1. six cans of sardines
2. six packets of tuna
3. 3 lbs of white rice in mason jars.
4. six peppers, three onions
5. 3 half gallons of 2% milk from Target, a few smaller bottles of chocolate milk
6. six bottles of red gatorade
7. clippers
8. one pair of long shorts
9. flip flops
10. one game over shirt, one death by shaving shirt, and one UPS shirt
11. swiss army knife
12. rice cooker
13. plastic spoon
14. six packets of ramen
15. 128 GB usb drive containing select King of Queens episodes
16. toothbrush and travel size toothpaste

But do those baggy clothes hide a body builder physique? Diamond Plus has access to fitness rooms. When he is not playing poker, is he flexing?

Does anyone actually believe that someone randomly stopped Rice and asked him if he was a bodybuilder because he has good calf development?

I mean even if we credit Rice with having muscular calves or whatever; no sane person is going to see his calves and be so impressed that they disregard the glaring obvious fact that he's about 100lbs overweight for his height without the slightest hint of muscle definition whatsoever.

Rice also said once before that he was stopped in an airport and complimented on his calves. This just doesn't seem like something that would plausibly happen except for maybe in Rice's imagination. We've all seen his calves when he marches around in his basketball shorts. Did anyone see anything so amazing that they would have to stop a total stranger to compliment them about it??

Is it possible that he's fabricating these stories from thin air just to make himself look good? Maybe he thinks he has good calves and believes that he should be complimented on them and this is his way of drawing attention to them. Absolutely hilarious stuff!

No !!!

Diesel has done it again. The best traveler in the world.

We got a brief glimpse of his wondrous calves from multiple angles.

Well now I see what all the hype is about. He's lucky more people aren't stopping him and asking him for calf training advice and also for signed autographs...

I think this is just one of the things that will start manifesting itself more frequently as the mental deterioration continues its downward spiral.

On the same page, its way more likely this is something he is fabricating to make himself look better.

The chances of this happenning once is very slim, the chances of it happenning on more than one occassion including at an airport? Literally zero.

Today ELD discusses contingency plans since he believes he will not be Diamond in 2026.

Ideally ELD will travel to Vegas in January 2026 and put in ten hour days to obtain MGM Gold tier.

Then ELD will stay at the Excalibur whenever it is under $40.

He states he will rely more on Airbnb especially during the dealing portion of his Nomadic Method.

Possibly he will still stay at Harrah's when it is under $10 which will add up to $60 total with resort fee.

He will also try to stay at the Linq since he never has stayed at the Linq.

ELD also states he will likely avoid Atlantic City since the only reason he goes to Atlantic City is to use his comped Atlantic City Harrah's rooms.

However ELD fails to mention he should try to match his MGM Gold to Hard Rock Icon in Atlantic City which expires in March.

Because 4 hours of play is about 15 orbits. Which means he’d lose $45 in blinds at a 1/2 game and $60 in blinds at a 1/3 game. “Free” room? Pffffft

Yup... the last time Rice played a 4 hour session would have been several months ago before his winter hibernation in his mommy's basement

10 hour days in 2026? LMAO. This guy is the dumbest.

Just curious how Corey Eyring raises $15k to play poker in 20 minutes and why Somerville keeps throwing money to him.

Wish I had those skills.

Wonder how he could be schlepping so much crap back and forth. Probably because it includes a fully equiped "kitchen".

You forgot the spork.

When we both lived in the Bay area, someone asked my buddy if he was on the Raiders. But he was 6'10" and well over 350 pounds, with arms that were almost like Hulk Hogan's (he was bored all the time, so spent hours every day at Gold's). I've seen him carry a stripper under each arm.
