Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.

I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.

Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.

Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.

No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

Skater Nomad films his girlfriend at the behest of the comments section of his videos. He runs into a fan in San Diego casino to give him $10. His girlfriend gets $25 freeplay when betting $25. And the $2,000 Prius is still holding up.

A good scene of California traffic but needs more parking garage content. There will soon be more focus on Poker for the $10,000 Vegas challenge.

There are plenty of gay poker players hunting for bears.

Their anthem?

I have no idea what the RPM on YouTube is for gambling videos. But, if it's only $5 per 1000 views, he would have made $500,000 just from ad revenue.

I think El D makes between $5 and $6 per thousand views.

YouTube Shorts makes hardly any revenue. About $50 per MILLION views.

One minute short above.
He sold his car, gambled the money on the Chiefs, and got rinsed.
This kid is exceptional at being dumb.

Let's talk about his bad decisions.

He bought the car with no title. JFC.

He sold a car worth $2500 for a chance to win $2383 And of course he lost (but got 2 Shirley Temples!).

Buys ticket for Greyhound bus for 12:45pm. Arrives at 12:45pm. Missed bus. LMFAO.

If youths are like this our country is doomed.

There are plenty of career options for someone with a law degree who doesn’t want to practice law. Your legal training provides critical thinking, research, writing, and analytical skills that are valuable in many fields.

Except poker.

He could use his training to work for a non-profit and be far better off financially. He chose to "play poker" which is fine, but stop giving financial and retirement advice like he's on a good path JFC.

When I take Greyhound I try to get to the terminal an hour ahead of time.

This guy is turning into another Corey Eyring. Make up the worst case scenario and lead with it. It's made up anyway.

We are all just rubber necking as we drive by their car crashes. Can't look away.

Why do you think there is such a frenzy to adopt increasing automation and a huge investment in artificial intelligence technologies? In other words, yes. Yes, we are doomed.

If you ever wanted a POV of what it would be like to be on top of Rice in the missionary position, today's video is just that!

Rice saving his viewers money on food!

I am NOT a viewer of his drivel. Not now and not ever. Don’t get it twisted.

Hey all:

In my personal experience, having a law degree and NO license to practice (not passing a bar exam) is a TREMENDOUS detriment in the job field.

Potential employers are like, "whoa, you didn't pass a bar? Why is that? Are you developmentally disabled? Attorneys make a TON of money! Why aren't you doing that?"

In the alternative, a lot of employers don't like to hire law skool graduates as they figure that they will likely be trouble, being very contentious if the employer doesn't grok the "rubric" of what is going down...

A potentially good job for El Diesel would be working on a cruise ship! He could travel all over the world, see a lot of different things. Eat & drink all that he wishes to do, have a cabin to sleep in AND MAKE MONEY! Heck, he's covered on room & board & food. As tight as he is, he would save maybe 80%+ of what he makes! He would also have plenty of time to make the YouTube videos!

Only downsides is that he would likely have to shave the beard AND he would have to work. HOWEVER, I hear that some cruise ships have casinos on them, so he could work there. Alternatively, they need lots of people in the galley to work the fryolators. Either way, that would be a HUGE step up for him! He would have more money that he would know what to with AND he would be traveling!

The ideal job for ELD is an eviction defense attorney at a non profit law firm but when he loses at eviction trial, ELD can cheer the client up and teach the client the Nomadic Method.

ELD can file a motion to be allowed to sleep in the court parking garage to reduce costs. And also to do consultations at the trunk of his car.

Lol. Rice would have to actually work. The life slogan for him, Timmy, Bikeboy etc… is we dont work for the man. Instead they leach off parents, girlfriends, family and desperate partners.

He’s got many options without using his law degree where he could make significantly more than minimum wage. Poker dealing and working UPS are two that’s he done already. What’s funny is that he could commit to one of them, grind it out for five years or so, and then have enough for the small amount of retirement money he’s aiming for.

Not passing the bar isn’t the end of the world. I have a friend with a JD who didn’t take the bar. He went into recruiting for legal staff (lawyers, paralegals, etc.). He did that for many years and is now a higher up in an HR role. Having a law degree can still open doors even if you choose not to practice law.

Probably half the upper tier Wall Streeters have law degrees. My engineer buddy was going to law school because high tech companies need people to do patent work.

This!
Off the top of my head, the only poker vlogger I could think of, that works 'for the man' is Ben Deach.

Another ELI5 video from Rice today. He really thinks his viewers are all in kindergarten.
