This now stands for this thread:
Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.
Update April 2018
********************
OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

A new update March 2019:
NO ****ING POLITICS!
I've been practicing law in DC since 1998 -- two year clerkship, a decade at "big law" and partner at a spin off of the Big Law since . . .. I hate practicing law and I hate most lawyers. I'm planning to retire within the next 1 to 3 years (because there has to be more to life than this . . .) and am actively working through retirement modeling on programs like Boldin. The hardest part for me is trying to estimate expenses in retirement, largely because I feel like my expenses over the last
hire rice as your supervisor, learn the ins and outs of retirement optimization
retire early and live your life to the fullest
ez game
Life is for living, not existing.
Diesel wants to exist.
The rest of us want to live.
I lost by best friend to cancer a year ago last week. Age 48. Wife and teenaged kids left behind and more friends than I can count. He LIVED. Every damn moment until he couldn’t. That Diesel chooses to merely exist is so ****ing tilting when life is so goddamn precious and he does NOTHING with it.
**** cancer and **** people who deliberately waste their lives doing the **** he does.

I hear you. Life is short. The dude crosses the country multiple times a year. And his experiences courtesy of his parent’s money is parking garages in Baltimore, Iowa, Missouri and Arizona.
Go see some ****. It’s a beautiful country. He could grow his channel exponentially with travel, nature stuff, sites to see in cities, more poker content. But NO!
King of Queens reruns, pricing mistakes at supermarkets and the diet of a 16yo. Its sad. Its his right to live this way but what a colossal waste of a life.
Corey posts a video rather late that he and Abby bet on Mike Tyson last November and lost when Tyson lost to Jake Paul. Then Abbey and Corey go to the tredmill. Then Abbey removes a pustule from Corey's neck and Corey states he is moving to a new apartment which could explain the extended stay at Borgata.

Didn't you see the trip he took to SF to use up his expiring BART credits while at the same time saving money on an expensive room. He packed quite a lot into that day!
But Rice is a special breed. He claims to have that future all figured out. I suspect he'll be in for a rude awakening. Of course, while I don't think Rice is a "trust fund" guy, it's possible he's just waiting it out until his parents die and he can live off some huge inheritance. If that's the case, kudos to him I guess.
Indeed he is! Rice's mission in life is to survive on the lowest amount of money humanly possible. I suspect this is because he is bitter at the world for not appreciating and rewarding his brilliance. Living his life in this passive aggressive manner is his way of beating the system, or rather thumbing his nose at it.
The Go Gamble Podcast with Troop and Rice is a classic.
Once ELD gets a RV he is ready to retire at Calizona RV park for a mere $250-$350 per month space rent. Also close to Laughlin:
wait till he discovers one can live on less than $200/month in Thailand
Unfortunately, I just don't think the GPI Awards appreciate the style of content Diesel provides. They prefer vloggers who focus on gameplay and fancy editing. Diesel's vlogs, on the other hand, are more like - "look a these chips; look at this chair; this is what felt looks like" -- with a healthy does of general vagrancy mixed in. But at some point, when Diesel's views continue to explode, they'll be forced to take notice. And frankly, it would probably help his cause if Diesel made it kn
ROFL. Thank goodness I've never seen a video of him doing this, but my imagination is damn funny.
I always kind of liked diesel and wished for him to take some of the advice here instead of dismissing it as toxic hate. Can 2p2 be a little negative and toxic? Sure, but it can also have TONS of good information. His stubbornness is one of the most unlikable qualities about him. His "retirement" plans completely ignore declining health. I'm guessing he has been fortunate so far, idk how old he is. What's that 2000/month going to turn into when he needs hip replacement, spinal fusion, heart surgery, insulin etc. I'm not making fun of him for being fat, those are all things I'll likely need someday
Hence why he claims it would only take him a few short years to reach retirement if he was getting $50k to $80k gifted to him each year. Rice probably figures he could retire in his 30s with just 250k to his name. And that's with no property; other than his car, his rice cooker, and his trusty pocket knife.
He probably could retire if he had 250k, but he doesn't. Assuming he can live in parents' basement.

He has the temp dealing job, which likely covers the majority of his nut.
How much it costs to be retired boils down to two things - where you live and what you plan on doing to pass the time. It can be pretty cheap or as high as the sky.
Once you own a house in a cheap cost of living area you can retire according to ELD. The housing costs is the biggest factor in living. Food can be reduced to minimal amount . Transportation can be reduced to taking the bus.
Yup. I kind of fell bass-ackwards into a very affordable house. Mortgage payment mid-3 digits. Which gives me a lot of flexibility if I ever retire. But it's funny that Diesel would talk about house ownership. With the money he's planning on retiring with, he's got almost no chance to buy a house.
That's just downright hilarious. $2000 per month is way more than he needs but how much he'll need to spend on a home is "unknown".
Bikeking is threatening to come back.
It can't be any worse than Rice.
One minute short.
