Hey again, please excuse the delay.
Those options sound good, prob more of a simple discord / "how-to" question, so I'll start there.
Thanks for the info Fozzy!
Is it possible to arrange the sessions in 24 hour periods, ie 1 day on the calendar = 1 session.
Hello,
it seems like after the latest update, HM3 is not saving my site settings I use for various platforms.
Every time I start HM3, I'm getting shown the site setup helper that states that new sites were detectetd.
Do you have any infos about that problem or ways to fix it?
Thank you very much,
Sebastian

There was a major rework of our Site Settings system in the last update, so this is something that our developers will need to see your logs to review.
Please reproduce the problem and attach a set of log files, screenshots of what is getting detected in the Site Settings and what is configured for each of those sites, and a detailed description of the issues.

Couldnt find an answer with search
But how do i make the hud seperate ante and non ante holdem stats
Its 2 different games so dosnt make sense to have together
wasnt it requested like 7 years ago, ante games are very common now, is it in the plans or do i have to move to h2n?
I think I might have replied without thinking this through properly last time since I don't have access to these ante games at my sites. If your 'ante' games show as a different line in the Cash Games By Stakes report you might be able to filter for them using the HM3 - HUD - 'Hud Options...' menu - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowledge-b...
Try setting the 'General Settings' / 'General' - 'Filters' - [x] 'Stats from Current Cash Stake Only' option.
If that doesn't help:
Please reproduce the problem and attach a screenshot showing the HUD, the Cash Results By Stakes Report (or Tournaments Overall report if you don't play cash games) for one of the selected players with the problems, and pictures of the HUD Options Filters and attach your \HM3logs files to a support ticket as explained in this FAQ.
Also, you will need to send us all that player's hands by selecting the player at the top of the HM3 software, opening the 'Overall' report, and then selecting 'Last 100,000' in the bottom hands grid, Ctrl+A, then right-click > 'Export' all of this hands to zip/send to us in the support ticket.

The stars client still does not record mystery bounties correct? Do you know when it would be able to?
I still always have to import the hand history tournament files after every session because when going to the overall tab, it never records reentries at all on stars if I do not do that. And even if so, it does not show the correct place finished in many tournaments. I mentioned that I even created a new database for this not too long ago and still this issue.
Should I delete my entire database and start new then? Can I do that without having to uninstall and reinstall HEM3 or is it better to just delete the whole database and then uninstall and download HEM3 again? You had suggested I created a new database and I did that and at first it seemed to be okay. But now it's the same issue. Lot of tournament results place finished is incorrect. There always is that message of errors and ask if I want to send an error report with logging issues.

No, we are still awaiting a developer check-in from the developers with some possible fixes for the mystery bounty issues. I do not have an estimate for when those will be checked in. You will need to keep an eye on the future release notes for mention of the Pokerstars mystery bounty issues. You should also get an email regarding those after they are checked in, but it will probably show up in the release notes before it shows up in your inbox.
No, you should not delete your database, or start a new database at this time. If you still have problems after the future check-in we may ask you to try in a new test database, but there is no reason to bother with that at this time.

Okay so mystery bounties are not recorded correctly.
A while back I recalled it was mentioned that it was a good idea to vacuum the database every so often or something like that? Is that necessary now?
Can you tell me what files I have to backup if say I want to save my HEM settings and all of that if I was to delete HEM3 and reinstall it again? Or say download HEM3 on a new computer and import my settings?
A while back I recalled it was mentioned that it was a good idea to vacuum the database every so often or something like that? Is that necessary now?
No. That should only be necessary after purging or deleting large samples of hands from your database.
I saw you posted about performance issues when mass-tabling at PokerStars recently. The only thing I can suggest for that as a possible help, would be to create a smaller database of only hands from 2025 and try using that when playing live, instead of your lifetime database of all hands, to see if it might improve performance.

- You can make a backup of the active database and settings at any time by using the Tools - 'Backup Database...' menu then restore it using the Tools - 'Restore Database...' option.
- Individual HUD Profiles can also be exported from the HUD - HUD Editor - Options button menu.
- All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. By default, your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Network\Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\SiteName\HM3Archive\2016\07\31). It is configured in the Tools - Settings - Import menu.
- You can also export your player notes and/or your hands from the HM3 - 'Tools' menu.
If you also want to manually backup the database/settings files:
- Your actual uncompressed HM3 databases are stored in C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\Holdem Manager 3\Databases\.
- Your personalized HM3 settings/files are stored in C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\.
- If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hidi....

I already did that not long ago with creating a new smaller database and using that when using HEM3. I only used like 1 month of data. At first the net winnings/losses was close to what it should be but then it was was never correct after that. I still have the issue of certain tournaments place finished not correct.
You mention the mystery bounty is not recorded correctly and you don't know when it would be. So it's normal when you don't earn any mystery bounties yet HEM3 shows in the tournament results you earned like say $130 or $70 or so when you didn't earn any? This has been happening in a lot of tournament results so the net won/loss is not correct by a lot.
I still have the issue where if I do not import the hand history files after a session and go to overall, it will almost always show 0 for reentries for every single tournament.

The new smaller database suggestion was in regard to the performance issues you mentioned in the PokerStars Aurora thread with lag. A new database will not affect these tournament results detection issues.

There is Mystery Bounty check-in from our developers 'Awaiting Check-in', which means that it should be in one of our next few beta releases, hopefully.
IMP-1097: PokerStars: Incorrect detection/bounty winnings for a Mystery Bounty tournament
This particular issue was in relation to a bug report from a different customer, before your reported issue, but I am hoping that it will help improve your issues as well.
I still have the issue where if I do not import the hand history files after a session and go to overall, it will almost always show 0 for reentries for every single tournament.
This happens with regular tournaments that are not 'Mystery Bounty' tournaments? If this is happening with standard non-bounty games, does it help correct the missing re-entries if you simply 'Stop HUD' and 'Start HUD' without manually importing the hands/summaries manually?
Please reproduce and screenshot the error before and after you restart/reimport, then send us your log files, along with the screenshots and details of what steps preceded the error to a support ticket - https://kb.holdemmanager.com/knowledge-b...
Also, zip/attach your hand history and tournament summary files from that logged session/day in your C:\HM3Archive folder.

Yes that issue still happens in overall tournament report where if I don't import after the session, it would show zero reentries for all tournaments.
I am still having the same issue where place finished is incorrect in many tournaments.
I notice a good amount of the time when closing HEM3 after I'm done, it says there were errors and if I want to send in the log error report or not.
What's the difference between the stats
Bet Flop In Position % vs Bet Flop Vs Missed C Bet?

After your next session, before you reimport the files, take a screenshot of the 'Tournaments' report and make sure it includes the 'Number' stat which is typically near the far right end of that report. Then reimport the files and take a new screenshot of the report. Send us the HH/TS files and screenshots with a detailed description of 1 or 2 specific tournament 'Number' that were corrected after the reimport.
The last sample that you sent didn't include screenshots of before and after your issue, and didn't include any specific tournament 'Number' in the problem description, so it was hard to narrow down the problem files in questions for the non mystery bounty games from your large sample.
Also, send us your log files, as instructed in this guide so that we can check them for the tournament detection issues.
I notice a good amount of the time when closing HEM3 after I'm done, it says there were errors and if I want to send in the log error report or not.
This won't be related to the tournament detection issues. It is most likely related to a known startup issue with the server connection that we are hoping to resolve in our next beta.
What's the difference between the stats Bet Flop In Position % vs Bet Flop Vs Missed C Bet?
Bet Flop% In Pos = % of time player bets the flop when last to act
Flop Bet vs Missed CBet = Percent of time player bets when opponent missed flop continuation bet
You can check the definitions of any stat in the 'Stats Picker'. In the Reports Stats Picker it shows immediately under each stat name. In the HUD Stats Picker the definition will show if you hover over the Stat Name.

Hi, I started to use HM3 (I had used HM2 years ago) and I have a couple of questions regading the HUD:
1) I remember in HM2 there was an option to move the HUD of all tables at the same time for players sitting in the same position. For ex. if you moved the HUD of the player at the top center, all the HUDs of the players in the same position of all tables moved the same way too. I can't find this option in HM3.
2) Is it possible to configure the background in a way that it doesn't look like a whole square or rectangle? I know you can configure the opacity of the background, but is it possible to make the background to trace the outline of the stats?
Thanks in advance

No, but once you move the HUD on 1 table and Save/Lock the change, it will then update and move on all of the other tables once a new hand has been imported on those other tables.

No, that is not possible.

Yes I know the definition is posted on it. However, I'm not sure what is the difference between these? I assume the second situation is when it includes multiway and say preflop raise and multiple callers. Preflop raise checks flop and action is on another player. Say that player is either next to act with say 2 players behind. So this stat would count this to it as long as the preflop raiser checked to them even if 2 other players in position? The same would apply if say preflop raiser checks flop, the next player checks and now action is on this player with another player behind?

Both stats can be either HU or Multiway.
Key Distinction:
- Bet Flop% In Pos is broader and applies any time you're in position and given the chance to bet first on the flop.
- Flop Bet vs Missed CBet is specifically when the preflop aggressor checks to you on the flop, regardless of your position, and you have the opportunity to take initiative.
Heads up examples:
1. Bet Flop% In Pos
- Definition: The percentage of the time a player bets the flop when they are last to act (in position) and have the opportunity to do so (i.e., when no one else has already bet).
Example:
- You're on the button (BTN).
- The cutoff (CO) opens, and you call on the BTN.
- The blinds fold.
- Flop comes down: CO checks to you.
- You bet.
2. Flop Bet vs Missed CBet
- Definition: The percentage of the time a player bets the flop when the preflop aggressor checks (i.e., misses a continuation bet), giving them an opportunity to "probe" or stab at the pot.
Example:
- CO raises preflop, you're in the BB and you call.
- Flop comes down: CO (the preflop raiser) checks.
- You (BB) bet.
* Note: Both stats can involve multiway pots (more than two players), but here's the nuance:
1. Bet Flop% In Position: Applies in both heads-up and multiway pots, as long as:
- The player is last to act on the flop.
- Everyone before them has checked, giving them the opportunity to bet.
Example (Multiway):
- CO raises preflop, BTN and BB call. Three players see a flop.
- BB and CO check, BTN is last to act and bets.
* That counts as a Bet Flop In Position opportunity. Multiway is fine as long as the player is last to act and faces checks.
2. Flop Bet vs Missed CBet: Also applies in both heads-up and multiway pots, with a key condition:
- You're not the preflop aggressor.
- The preflop aggressor checks on the flop.
- You get a chance to bet after that check.
Example (Multiway):
- CO raises, BTN and BB call. Three players see a flop.
- BB checks, CO (preflop raiser) checks, BTN bets.
* That counts for Flop Bet vs Missed CBet (for BTN), because the preflop raiser missed the c-bet and BTN is betting into that missed opportunity, even in a multiway pot.
Summary:
- Bet Flop% In Pos: Must be last to act and face checks
- Flop Bet vs Missed CBet: Must be facing a missed c-bet from preflop raiser
