I never tried it to be honest, as I don't use NC, but there is an option to enable session notes which might do what you want - http://notecaddy.com/NoteCaddy-Session-N...

NC.lastshowdown also shows the hands by order they were taken

Any idea why the program still runs after I exit? It's in the system tray in the bottom right and I have to always quit from there after exiting from the program. Also, sometimes it doesn't close and I have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to end it.

Lastly, I am giving the computer back to my boss, so how do I remove all signs of the program? Bonus points if you could tell me how to do the same thing for poker stars.

By default, the HM3 Server will not close when you close the HM3 client. You must right-click and 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon from the Windows System Tray. This is so you can still import hands and use the HUD even if the software is closed. When HM3 and the server are both closed you can get HM3 to this state using the 'HM3 HUD Only' desktop or start menu shortcut. If you want the import server to close when you close the main HM3 window you have to disable your Tools - Settings - General option to [ ] 'Keep HM3 running in HUD only mode upon exit'.

I got this license error today. On the HM website my serial number still appears in the "HM2data" section, but not under the "My licenses".
HM2 worked perfectly for the past 14years.
Is this a server error?

I used HM2 for the past 14years and now my hm2 license expired. I am trying to setup hm3 for the first time.
I have 2 problems:
1) I accidently imported some corrupted 888 hands from my hm2 database. I made a new database. How do I delete the corrupted HM3 database?
2) HH import speed in HM3 is very slow (160/s). I have a very powerful computer and had 600-900hands/s in hm2, using adjusted settings from you. How can I get HM3 to use more CPU and import faster?

I know you've stopped support for HEM2 but just a quick question if there is a simple answer.

I just jumped back into poker after a year or so. I've been playing NL5z on Stars with no problem for the last 2 weeks. Today I opened Nl10z and the HUD won't show (it just says waiting for hands). Same with NL25z. I tested on NL2z and the HUD worked fine. I tested on reg tables and the HUD worked fine.

Is there any obvious reason for this and quick fix?

- Please close HM2, download this ZIP - https://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/...
- Unzip (replace existing) it to this folder* - C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Roaming\Holdem Manager\config\
* (instead of {Username} type Windows user name)
* If you can't see that folder, turn off the Windows option that is hidi....

Unfortunately, if none of that helps there is nothing further we can do to assist you as HM2 support and updates ended on Dec 31, 2020. You will need to upgrade to HM3 for future technical support. You can read more about the HM2 End Of Life here.

If you owned an HM2 license and are logged in with the proper email address, you should see your HM2 code under your My Account - Store Account - 'My HM2 Data' tab - https://store.holdemmanager.com/account/...

Everytime I open HEM3, it seems like more often than not it doesn't load and shows the error message of not enough resources. Then I close it. Then I open HEM3 again and then it loads. Is this normal? I even open HEM3 when chrome isn't opened yet and have these issues. Many times it would later on ask me if I like to send a report and I always click on no for that.

Is HEM3 going to record mystery bounty tournaments correctly anytime soon? It always shows incorrect mystery bounty amounts won when it should be 0 and it's always a higher number. If I do have some mystery bounties won, that amount recorded is never correct.

I still have the issue where the place finished for many tournaments are incorrect. Are other users having this issue as well? Everytime I'm done with a session, I go to manually import the hand histories from the folder. Only when I do that, the reentry amounts are either correct or close to correct. But place finished and mystery bounties are never correct with stars.

This is likely related to you having a large database in comparison to your system RAM available. These startup issues should be improved if you update HM3 to version 3.1.39.11.

Unfortunately, I do not have an estimate for when these issues with mystery bounties might be resolved. For now, you will need to manually edit the results via the Reports - Tournaments - Tournaments - right-click a tournament in the upper half of the report grid - Edit - Tournament Editor, then edit as needed and click 'OK' to save the edits.

If you restart both the HM3 'client' and 'server' as instructed below, before attempting to reimport these hands, does HM3 show that it is 'Detecting tournaments...' in the lower left corner of the HM3 software after it is restarted?

- Close your poker clients, close HM3, and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
- Restart HM3 and ensure HM3 and the HM3 Server (Auto Import/HUD) are fully started.
- Launch your poker client(s).

Do the tournament results get updated and/or corrected after the restart, or do you still have to do your hand reimport steps now after restarting? Does this happen with all tournament types, or only the Mystery Bounty games?

To make sure that we have this issue documented for your specific tournaments, please send us your log files the next time this happens at the end of a session, and also zip/attach your hand history files and tournament summary files for that session from your 'C:/HM3Archive' folder for us to do some auto/manual import testing with.

When did that new update come? I am using 3.1.39.0. I noticed there hasn't been an HEM3 update in a while. The thing is when I check updates in HEM3, it shows it's up to date? I thought any updates would show up by itself when opening HEM3? Earlier when I opened HEM3, it had that message of not enough resources like 5 times. I have 32gb ram. The thing is I even open HEM3 before I open chrome.

I had a very large database a while back. Then you suggested to create a new database which I did and import just a few sessions of it. When I did that, I recall after each session, I still needed to manually import after every session in order for the correct reentries to be recorded. Then after a while, same issue of place finished in some tournaments is incorrect. There was always the issue of mystery bounties never recorded correctly.

Okay so I just opened HEM3 and went back to the last few sessions that I played. I went to my last session and notice it doesn't show those incorrect mystery bounties. It also seems to show the correct place finished in most of my tournaments. However, I notice I won very few bounties in many of the regular bounty tournaments so I'm not sure if it's correct or not. I then checked other days and it looked somewhat right but I'm not sure. So after I play another session, I will then import it like normal. Then check the results like normal. It would then always show the incorrect mystery bounty won amounts and some tournaments always show the wrong place finished. I then would close HEM3 and the HEM3 icon on the bottom right of the computer. Then open HEM3 again. Then check the tournament results. Is that the correct thing to do? I would then check if the results are correct or not. The thing is after each session, you say I'm not suppose to import anything? So maybe don't import anything. Then close HEM3 and the HEM3 trey. Then start HEM3 again and check the results?

There have been 6 beta updates since that version. We don't normally have this many 'beta' versions between 'stable' versions, but we think that version 3.11.39.11 is solid, and we should be able to renumber it and release it as our next stable version 3.1.40.0 before too long, I believe.

You will receive a prompt to update HM3 any time there is an update available, as long as you have enabled the Tools - Settings - General - [x] 'Check for Updates' and [x] 'Prompt for beta updates' options. You can check for new updates via the HM3 - Help - 'Check for updates...' option. You can also check for updates and release notes in our HM3 Releases forum or in our Release Notes FAQ.

There have been numerous fixes regarding tournament detection for PokerStars in these beta updates, so I would suggest you update ASAP:

- Close your poker clients, close HM3, and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
- Please update to our latest beta version of HM3 from this link - https://www.holdemmanager.com/download/i...
- Restart HM3 and ensure HM3 and the HM3 Server (Auto Import/HUD) are fully started.
- Launch your poker client(s).

Yes. Try updating HM3 and playing your next session like normal. Check your results after the session, and maybe take some screenshots to be sure you remember how it looked. Stop the Auto Import, exit HM3, close the HM3 icon from the Windows System Tray, wait 5 or 10 seconds, and restart HM3, then check the results again and take new screenshots if necessary. I expect that when you restart HM3 and it starts the Auto Import process again, it will find some leftover summary files to import, and it will then start 'Detecting Tournaments...' in the lower left status message of HM3.

If the results are still incorrect after all of that, then you could try the 'Allow reimport...' setting and manual reimport steps and see if that helps. If none of that helps, you will have to manually edit the results for now.

We added manual import support for the hands that you can download from them post-session. They still do not write live hand history files when playing, so if you want to be able to auto-import during live play and use the HM3 HUD, you will need to use a 3rd party hand grabber/converter from Advanced Poker Tools or EliteHUD.

There is an update to the newer HEM 3 version. I downloaded it. After the session, I notice it still does not show any reentries at all. I have to manually import everything after the session.

Only after I do that, do the tournament results show up with reentries. Same issue with mystery bounty tournaments showing bounties when no bounties were won. Same issue where some tournaments show incorrect place finished. It would show finished like 300 out of say 600 players when ITM in that tournament which isn't correct.

So at the moment, the only issues other users have with stars with HEM# is incorrect mystery bounties won only right? So few people if any get the place finished incorrect? The thing is are people still having to manually import after every session? I did recall after a session, I just closed HEM3. Then reopened it without importing. It did not show any reentries still.

We had a couple of fixes related to PokerStars and bounties/mysteries in the last update:


If you are still experiencing issues with tournament detection for Mystery games, please replicate the problem during the next session. Send us your logs, hand history files, and detailed screenshots of specific tournaments, including the 'Number' statistic from the 'Tournaments' report for the games that need to be tested by our QA/Testing team.

a) Please reproduce and screenshot the error, then send us your log files, along with the screenshots and details of what steps preceded the error, to a support ticket.

b) Also, zip/attach your hand history files and tournament summary files for that session/day from your C:\HM3Archive to the same 'Send Feedback' ticket as instructed in this guide.

Is that folder where HM3 is currently installed, or was it from an old installation or backup of HM3?

The first 2 files should contain all of your HUD Profiles from that installation or backup. If you copy/paste those files into your current installation, you should get all of your HUD Profiles again in the HM3 HUD Editor to be able to use, export, etc.

If you only want one of the old profiles out of there to put into your new installation, it would be a little trickier. If you send them to me in an HM3 'Send Feedback' support ticket and give me the name and description of the individual profiles that you want exported out of the 2 master files, I can probably do that for you.
