2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

It actually makes sense to you that Israel would have more UN resolutions than ALL those places combined? Like you can make that track, given their combined human rights records?
If you just relied on math alone, it's impossible. You have to use pure human hategoggles to arrive at that distribution of resolutions.

Nobody is trying to justify anything. We are talking about how utterly corrupt the UN is. Someone brought them up.

Questioning the integrity of UN resolutions against Israel would involve you actually establishing what resolutions you think are incorrect and then presenting facts to support your position. Any time you feel like doing that instead of tossing out kneejerk "WHATABOUT SOMALIA" posts, go right ahead.

Trolly, I don't need to get into the specifics (at your beck and call) because the aggregate data paints more than enough of a picture.
2024: 17 vs Israel, 6 rest of the world
2022 (before Oct 7th) 15 Israel, 13 rest of the world
2021: 14 vs 5
Again, this is against the body of work of places that black bag women for showing their hair and disappear them. Or the glue factories of Syria, or the slaughter house that is the Kurds (via Turkey). The UN is morally bankrupt if this distribution of resolutions is starting to make sense to you.

Just because you declare this to be true doesn't mean that it is.
I'm not saying antisemitism necessarily is not one of the reasons, but there certainly are others.
For one, take any of those other countries. North Korea? It doesn't just have empty proclamations about how it is bad in the UN. It is actually sanctioned. There's a ban on arms exports to NK, ban on oil and gas, ban gold and precious metals, ban on certain kinds of software, ban on flights, there are frozen funds, many individuals have additional sanctions, and more.
Israel doesn't have any of this. There are a bunch of resolutions that get vetoed and one country or another keeps trying to get something to stick. But, nothing does. Meanwhile, countries like Iran, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Lebanon, and Somalia have meaningful sanctions in place from the UN.
