2024 NFL Draft Thread

2024 NFL Draft Thread

If this feels like déjà vu, that's because it is. For the second season in a row, the Panthers have the #1 overall pick. It's not often that SE members have the opportunity to start consecutive NFL draft threads as the honorary member whose team has the #1 overall pick.

Oh, ****. You mean we earned the #1 overall pick and don't actually have it?

What? You're saying we traded the #1 overall pick this year for the #1 overall pick last year plus gave up DJM, 1.09, 2.31 and a 2nd round pick next season? Well, surely that means we must have picked someone really good last year.

What's that? Between the last two draft classes, it's possible our guy is the 7th best QB taken in the first round? No ****ing way.

Well, at least we hired some new coaches again. I'm sure it'll work out better this time.

Time for the 10 burning questions of the first round.

1. Will the Bears find a way to fumble the bag, anyways? What will Caleb Williams be wearing and will his nail polish match his outfit?

2. Will NE select a QB, trade back, or take a generational WR with no one to throw the ball to him?

3. Will No.1 Chargers avoid taking a WR hoping that Justin Herbert can both throw and catch the ball?

4. Is Sean Payton actively tanking the Broncos organization even further or will he reach for a QB?

5. Will the Bills take another top 100 pass catcher in the first round or will they expect perennial MVP candidate Jawsh to do it all like Kermit?

6. Will Miami draft the fastest guy in combine history?

7. Will the Panthers wait until 33 to **** it up again or will they try to make another bad trade up?

8. Will the Jets do anything to protect their 40 year old conspiracy theorist politician?

9. Will the Cowboys do anything to improve their team or has Jerry simply stopped caring at this point?

10. What will the 49ers do now that they've finally paid off the Trey Lance trade?

Tune in Thursday at 8 pm eastern to find out.

They should probably draft a HC

This is funny and true all at the same time.

Trevor can't fail now, right?

Honestly can’t wait til jerruh dies

thought someone was still there, nope he was gone

i expect the big red walrus to take a shot at some wideout this draft. he needs to go deep again, been a long time. in the walrus i trust

love the cowboys draft room death star get up with jerry heading the table surrounded by minions

also love lions sniping a cb from packers

also love vikings haul. there was talk of them mortgaging both firsts and a 2025 2nd or 3rd for JJ, and they end up getting both him and possibly best defensive player in the draft for essentially the same price

Xavier Worthy to Chiefs?

Bills trade with Chiefs seems curious. I don’t know **** about **** but aren’t they both in the market for a receiver or corner?

Well that's cool

It's been Josh Allen's big wish to finally get his team to have the final pick in the first round.

Worthy would be a bust on like 15+ teams but on KC he probably goes for 2k yards

Do the ESPN guys know that Rice hasn't been cut yet?

The walrus got his burner. The stats say he is only 5'11 but 4.2 40 yrd dash. Downfield is now open for buisness

My prediction for the Niners:

Spoiler
Show

I don't **** about Ricky Pearsall, but this seems like a hilarious pick

OH

NO

Bills giving a real FU to Jash

They must be high on guys in second or third round.

patherns decisions started the night, and now they end it. good luck

If I'm Josh I want a trade asap. The let a couple wideouts go and they currently have less than nothing.

Please kill me

Sorry Heels

I think most mocks had Mitchell to them at #28. He's still available for them at 33.

Not surprised that Worthy passed him, but kinda shocked that a total of (at least) 7 WRs would be gone before him.
