not claiming as a reliable source and have not researched
but heard on radio today stroud last season had 66 snaps total with a complete wr group

Their o-line was also terrible.

On the Geno trade, the prevailing rumor is that the Seahawks are dialed in on Darnold.

Seahawks going from one jest bust to another jest bust would be too lol jests to ignore

Also seems like a complete and utter waste. If you’re trading DK and geno the singular point is to tank. Trading DK and geno and signing Darnold is the most pointless shit I’ve ever heard of

Been sitting back on the Bork discussion cus I’m prone to hyperbole, but as the resident 9er sufferer I feel I’ve suffered through too many posts on the subject to not interject

1. Bork is clearly a better qb than where he was drafted. He has also clearly demonstrated himself as capable of doing enough to be a starting qb by *checks notes* making it to an NFCCG he woulda won if his elbow didn’t blow up and following it up by getting to overtime in the Super Bowl against the only QB with GOAT equity

1a. He did this while being the first qb Kyle trusted to actually pass the ball. Womp threw NINE FUCKING PASSES in an NFCCG which is how little he was trusted

2. Is Bork an elite qb? Lol no. Is the door closed on him developing into one? Lol no. The potential exists. He does have the arm talent, his biggest problem is he has too much favre in him, but he progresses through his reads very well, and he can make some pretty sweet fucking throws.

2a. The problem is when aiyuk wasn’t dead and Deebo wasn’t completely worthless the fact of the matter is Bork was insanely lucky and got away with a LOT of throws that shoulda been picks

3. I subscribed for the longest time to the idea that you can only give a qb 50 mil+ if they are capable of elevating the talent around them and not needing talent around them. Of which, I think the only qbs that fit the bill are Kermit, Jawsh, RB1 and probably JOE!

3a. This was completely disproved by the eagles last year showing that an intelligent GM is all you need if you are going to overpay an above average but maybe not elite QB

4. We look at the 50 million qbs in the sense that once they get that money the team is fucked, which, reverting back to 3a, the chargers gave sherbert the bag and are a gaggle of buffoons. Predictably they failed. The cowboys gave Dak the bag and are owned and managed by the stupidest 200 year old alive. Predictably Dak had no shot. Tua got all the money but man what the shit happened to Ruxin and friends

5. So where is Bork on the scale of QBs? As pissed as I was all season the reality is the year and a half he started wasn’t a fluke. Yes, there was a lot of talent there, but there is a mountain of evidence that any idiot can’t just walk in under center with a bevvy of talent around them and sleepwalk their way to 2* super bowls in their first 2 years. He (justifiably) took it on the chin for his performance this year but that completely ignores his performance the previous 2 which was objectively impressive. Let’s not forget that if not for Christmas 2023 this guy is an nfl mvp

6. Lynch has demonstrated himself to get a Howie level benefit of the doubt. I’m not gonna be happy if Bork gets 50+, but if Lynch gives it to him there’s a good reason. You can’t possibly do better starting from scratch unless you’re 1 in a million lucky. Don’t forget, when they drafted Bork they cut qbs just to keep him on the roster despite being the last pick. They clearly saw something in the guy day 1 and based on how quickly they finally became a pass first offense when he started relative to the 5 other QBs who started under Kyle for the 9ers (including the guy they traded 3 1sts to grab) this was always the apple of their eyes

Cliff notes: nath is right. And I say that as someone who suffered through every snap of the 2024 Niners

Cliff notes:BORK IS ELITE

nice. agreed

The Chiefs really sure know how to pick em (rut roh Worthy)

Can we pin this to the thread?

On Lynch's benefit of the doubt, maybe you can get in his ear about his fixation on senior receivers. Baffling to refuse to draft from the talent pool at a position where all the stars and the large majority of good players come from.

If the chefs can go one year without someone committing a felony or killing someone that’d be nice

His lawyer says that it wasn’t his fault

Seems like the evidence is overwhelming at this point that the Chiefs simply do not gaf about "character issues" until they become impossible to overlook (like video footage of punching a woman)

come on dom ain't von miller still on the bills roster even after punching ihr while pregnant
open and shut case of schwanger anger

Ronnie Stanley back to Raves 3/60/44

It’s gonna be a really boring FA period. Very few premium FAs available.

Tbh it might mean we see a ton more trades

hoping CIN gets a 2nd round pick plus an earlyish day 3 pick for Trey before Tue

Trey for Garrett…straight up?

Trey for Garrett…straight up?

lol. Mike Brown wouldn't cut that check

hoping we land Koonce if Trey walks

Stanley deal seems pretty good. I am happy and just hope he stays healthy.

Your coach is a flat-billed Cool Dad with smartest-guy-in-the-room syndrome but doesn't know how overtime works. If he couldn't win it with the QB position on a Denny's manager salary then I'm not sure why anyone thinks they could go even further paying $60M for that spot.

don't worry Nath, only a $69.2m cap hit for your below average QB in 2026

that's fine i'm sure whatever player Loomis mistakenly trades up for will make us a Super Bowl contender

also i get the strong feeling that'll actually be $34.6m of dead money in 2026 and 2027

Worthy's never been in any trouble. Not sure how they were supposed to screen for that. Also the charges have been dropped.

Nothing to see here then, move right along

Either that or the 5 year $300m extension they give him will push the cap pain down the road

Looking at the Worthy article led me to click on the lunar eclipse article (wasn't sure if it was last week or this week) which led me to the clickbait article that taught me that, yes, South Carolina still executes people via firing squad. Mind blown.
