I bought a tesla and then a house with my girlfriend. Now the stability of a staking arrangement feels appealing for the first time in my career.
I also have been playing on some apps. NLH, PLO, PLO5 and Hi-lo.

Luckbnox inc, no, I never claimed to understand anything about “2-7 ofc pineapple”. I supposed it might be something similar to the story of the “flypaper report”.
I suspected 2-7 ofc pineapple may be a name or a game you've created, and possibly there are no rules to the game other than what may be in your own mind. Possibly there is no reasonable strategy to play the game.
Of course, I may still be wrong regarding your posts on this matter. You can be lying to all of us. My being less than corr

betting flop will outperform by far even if it’s close in solver.
Where's the graph?
What's the plan for the hand when 3-betting? To win the $30 in the pot (risking $100 to win $30)?
AJ is going to completely miss the flop more often than not. So, I think you should have a pretty good idea what flops you're going to barrel (or check-fold) before you 3-bet.
Personally, I see no reason to get involved with professional LAG with AJ in this spot.
If he's someone you play with regularly, you could just ship it with your overpairs/AK/AQ/AJ. The times you get caught bluffing will get you more action when you've got the big pair.
3-bet pre and then checking a flop with all medium to low cards smells of AK. You're almost inviting him to stab at the pot the 2 out of 3 times you don't flop a pair.

this was interesting, mike raised Daniel's cbet on the flop and when Daniel shoved mike called with K high
seems like a punt in a vacuum but I like it, shows that Mike was willing to bluff and then understood he was pot committed to call off the remainder - I think older version here doesn't make that play, or if it does, snap folds for just a little more
I bought this sim for monkersolver (which I do not know how to use, I am a neophyte)
i don't understand the conversion between mchip and bb for the cap
these are the data of the sim:
rake 5% 1200 mchip cap
Thanks for reading.
Setting aside the bet sizing since it's game-specific:
Problem is you're UTG/8 and with no cards that block a 3-bet shoving range. It's just a very unlikely scenario that you get this through and steal the blinds.
and while I would ordinarily fold most of the time, I will open things like this occasionally for balance, if I don't do this now and again I wouldn't get anywhere near the sort of action I do when I do hit top pair or better
Balance, and board coverage, for hands like this is more important when you're deeper. 40BB+ I'll open 76s UTG sometimes. You're at 22.5BB, you don't need to worry about balance as much. Or, more accurately, you still want board coverage in that you want your range, in aggregate, to be capable of stacking off on any board, but this short you don't have to worry about those being the nuts or effective nuts-- you're still stacking off with overpairs on 854 or 762, for example.
my main question is having made that call in the first place whether the risk/reward of calling off the jam is worth it
I doubt it very much. You have to thread a pretty thin needle for this to be +cEV, with neither of them having a pair, and the cost of dropping from 20BB to 12.5 or so is pretty significant.
But this is just a math and range question on that point. Is it worth it? Well, what do you think your opponents' ranges are here?
Rule #1 of micro live NL. Never try to make someone fold Top top especially AK unless there’s a 4 straight or 4 flush for any amount of money under 600 BB
Thanks for the responses. It's good to get some confirmation.
In retrospect, I was really fixated on vil's value hands, but not thinking about how HJ should not be bluffing much here. I show up on the river with all sorts of hands that are happy to stack off at SPR .5.
Absent a strong read on vil this does seem to be a comfortable fold.
I know that a lot of poker players (lot of my friends too) are not nerds or computer experts, but hey just use Virtual Servers to avoid scams...
You can install anything on those computer and nothing will go on your main OS.
Just search on google "virtual servers". They are pretty easy to find, costs no more than 10$ per month for basic plans and give you the most effective weapon against scammers.
Have a good life everyone!
At these short depths, we want to shove our hands that are more difficult to play postflop, that are more vulnerable, and have a harder time realizing their equity. Lower pocket pairs that are likely to face overcards on the flop. These hands want to fold out random overcards and not give the chance to reshove or to just call a min raise and see the flop. AQo type hands also want to fold out hands with a lot of equity and get to see 5 cards when called.
Our strongest suited aces work well in t
Makes sense. Thanks for breaking it down.

2. We need to talk about this:
On a monotone flop, any hand that isn't a flush is basically a bluff-catcher. There are two main types of hands that we can bluff-catch with here: hands that can improve, like nut flush draws, 2P and sets, and hands that can't, like straights. [...]
Bottom line - this just isn't how you play a bluff-catcher.
Thanks docvail for your comprehensive answer. I agree with everything you wrote. And yes, I came to realize that I overplayed my straight already on the flop and it would have been better to check / call it off as a bluff catcher.
If he is going to play tricky OP should take this line but be prepared to call down, obviously on the flush completing not much we can do but if it was rainbow and just a lead it’s a snap call, I’ve seen this same exact play at 1/3 on non flush completing boards lol (I actually guessed KK :p)
Great post. Thanks for sharing!
You're already short stacked given the size of the game. Why on earth would you do something that's as -EV as straddling int hat position?
I'm not buying that anyone is a "winning reg" when they're limping and then calling a 9x raise against a short stacked player.
That's fair, I'm just basing it off what I've seen. They easily could be losing every other time lol
This is a jam. You have so many outs and add to that you have fold equity.
Your bankroll to play this game is roughly $1m, so if you lose, it's not like it should matter much to you. Also, given how much you're playing for, paying for professional coaching is better than asking 2+2.
In the Reciprocal Ranges, Full Street game, Question 1, it says that Ivan has a positive EV, but lower than in the half street game.
But, why is it lower? If Opal is indifferent to checking/betting with aces, she can check with all her aces, and then we revert to the half street game. So, Ivan gets the same EV of 1/18 (~0.06).
The book also states that Opal betting all her As and 1/3 of her Qs is one of many equilibriums. Let's calculate the EV.
Bet scenarios
Aces: Opal always bets with aces
She wins the pot always (+$2). 1/2 of the time, Ivan has a King, and his calling freq with King is 1/3, so Opal wins an addition 1/6 (total of 13/6).
Queens:
1/3 of the time, Opal bluffs with Qs. Since she is indifferent to this, the EV is 0 (same as if she folds).
Check scenarios
Kings:
Once we check with Kings, Ivan will bet all his aces and 1/3 of his queens. We are indifferent when Ivan bets, so we only win when he doesnt check with Queens. This is 1/2 * 2/3 of the time, or 1/3 of the time. So we win the $2 1/3 of the time, for an EV of 2/3.
Queens:
2/3 of the time, we check our Queens. We never win, so EV is 0.
Total:
Aces is 13/6, Kings 2/3, Queens 0. Average of 17/18. Buyin is 1, so our overall EV is -1/18. So, Ivan's ev is 1/18 (same as half street game).
I was wondering if I'm missing something, because I have been confused for a wile. Did I make a mistake anywhere? plz lmk
glad you guys liked it <3

I mean let's look at this logically. You have a site that won't fix a bot problem, you have a site that has no license to run the site, and you have a site that has no certificate for their random number generator. This is someone you have a deep trust for that they wouldn't deal the cards in an unfair manner? Why would you have trust in this site with those three things I just listed above?

Yeah, if there are limping recs just wait for a better hand and shove to pick up the dead money. You're in the best possible position to wait it out
