Hustler Casino Live - Nick Vertucci
Nick Vertucci is the co-owner of High Stakes Production, creator of Hustler Casino Live.
Nick Vertucci is a serial real estate seminar scammer and convicted felon.
Nick Vertucci has not had a losing session on Hustler Casino Live stream for over 2 months.
Does anyone find this strange?
So?
Anyone could have made HCL you just had to go to it when it was a dying casino and say hey I have this great marketing idea that is going to bring a lot of people to your casino and put up the money for the production and take on the risk that nobody cares about the stream and you never make your money back and they pull the plug on the show. Nick seized the opportunity that a lot of people with money could have gone after, but they didn't, now they're resentful towards him for it.
What if Kitty Kuo is sitting at the table with money that I want and she's being aggressive towards me, say hey, I didn't ask for that, so give me your money? You're abusing having money that I want so that you can sit at the table next to me, so give me your money? You shouldn't have the money because you're using it to leverage yourself into a position where you can hit on me? It's an uncapped $10/$20 and you bought in for $200,000 and won't leave the table, that's a position of power, ship me your stack for making comments?

This is borderline unhinged and 100% incoherent. I have no idea what your argument is. How are people trying to take Nick's money? Lauren should, but that is damages from her lost wages due to his illegal actions (hostile, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination). Other people are calling at the behavior and no one has tried to take money from him.

He's getting forced out of his ownership which yes is taking a stream of income (money) from him, and letting someone else come into the opportunity after it's already been derisked.
PugDolk (or NV), there is no comparison to what Nick has been doing to compare it to other guys/girls being creeping or sexually aggressive towards other people. Nick is using his position of power to leverage his sexual advances.
You are getting into semantics regarding him being their boss or employer. There is no dispute that he has a certain amount of power over people like Julia in that he has access to something that they want. He can decide whether or not they play in the HCL games.
That
Bro for real, what famous or rich person, either knowingly or unknowingly, doesn't leverage their power/wealth/fame for sex? It's built into the goddamn human genome!
Obviously intentional, willful exploitation is a different story but this is clearly not that. His game was so bad it offset everything he had in his favor.
HCL is done [emoji818]
how can Feldman fix this mess?!?
Does any1 else want to see Nick Vertucci behind bars & locked up like the filthy weirdo creep that he is???
FFS he spray paints his head & only plays KK + he's a Cancer to the poker world & community, I can't stand how he sits at the poker table all smug being a nit while getting a massage for hrs & hrs, he's disgusting
Does HCL make money?
I'm totally ignorant about the business, but it seems like an expensive production and I never understood how it made a profit.
Man, if only Veronica could’ve known that Nick was a scumbag, there were just no signs.
It’s almost like she turned a blind eye to anything, and threw away any morals or ethics she cared about for money or poker “fame”
Ya of course the first time I met NV he was a creepy perv, of course he made unwanted sexual advances towards… ya of course.
But no, I couldn’t believe he was doing this to other women lolololololololololo
hilarious that Veronica stayed on with Verdouchy for so long [emoji1787]
Where is Todd with a breaking news Radio show on this!?!?! I can see him roasting Brill for being so willingly blind eye to Vertucci being a major sexual creepo!

It's hard to go through life without compromising and working with unsavory people. Even if you work at McDonald's you are promoting childhood obesity and stuff like that.
So I wouldn't lump her with Nick, not that this is your claim.
Working with Nick is a really big compromise though. His real estate stuff alone is really awful. She wasn't naive to what kind of a guy he is.
Part of the reason he is going down so hard is that this was the last straw.

YouTube video ad money plus sponsorships. The sponsorships (logo on the felt, etc) probably sell for around $10 per 1000 views, ads for around $8 per 1000 views. It could be higher or lower, somewhere in the $5-$50 range for each type of paid promotion I'm just guessing based on the gambling niche it's in (ads for like finance channels are at that higher end). So if a show gets 300,000 unique viewers, that's $3k per sponsor and then say each viewer sees on average 3 ads (could be more or less depending on how long the average viewer watches) that's $7,200 so that's over $10k and the show runs 5 nights a week. It's definitely nice money. Let's say it has a production staff of 7 people outside of Nick and Ryan, working 6 hours on average let's say they're paid $30 an hour that's only $1260 a night, and on a hot night the show is making over 10x that.
I guarantee anyone trying to lump in Veronica/HCL employees with Nick just for knowing him or working there is a minimum wage brokie with no experience in a professional workplace.
Ryan on the other hand clearly should have done something for business/monetary reasons, not for moral reasons though.
>50% chance this was an intentional ploy by Feldman, Airball, etc to get total control of the platform (not framed, just exploited an opportunity--the dick pic thing is obv real)
100% chance mob rule and frontier justice ends badly for society
See, everyone—Vertucci isn’t the perp here, he’s the victim. And the whole of society will suffer because of his mistreatment.
Not sure if it’s already been posted in the thread, but a decent story and interview with Julia on poker.org:
Those defending Vertucci are really sick.
Vertucci in one game kept touching Sashimi’s ear:
“The Sashimi reference relates to an incident on a Hustler Casino Live stream from February 3, 2023 that made for an uncomfortable watch then, but takes on greater significance in the light of the allegations made against Vertucci.
In the game, the camera is on another part of the table when there's a commotion between Vertucci and Sashimi. The cameras move quickly to the two players who are sitting next to each other, and the exchange was recorded (timestamp: 04:20:15).
Sahsimi: Stop, please.
Vertucci: Okay, you don't like that?
Sashimi: No, no.
Vertucci: We've found her weak spot.
Sashimi: It's sexual harassment.
Vertucci [points]: Oh, stop.
Sashimi: No.
Vertucci: You're joking?
Sashimi: No, I'm serious.
Vertucci: By making a bug in your ear?
Sashimi: Yes.
Vertucci: Okay, no problem. That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. It won't happen again, I swear.”
In other incidents, Vertucci showed dick pics to KK on stream, and he made sexual comments to Arden Cho, who then stopped playing in games where he was also playing.
And of course, he repeatedly sexually harassed an HCL dealer and then had her fired when she complained to casino management.
Here is Julia explaining why she came forward now:
“At the time that those texts happened, which was about a year ago, Nick was asking me out a lot, and I was saying no repeatedly. I didn't think that I needed to publish them at the time. I was nice about it in the texts, which I'm getting a whole bunch of online flak for, instead of saying, ‘Stop texting me.' I just laughed it off and said, I have a boyfriend, because I wanted to be able to play on the Hustler stream. I thought I had to be really nice about it and not burn that bridge if possible.
I also didn't do anything in around June of this year when I found out that Nick had banned me from the stream. I thought he could run his business however he wants. I wasn't going to do anything until I found out that Lauren had been harassed by him and had lost her job because of it. At that point, it's like, people have to come forward. So it seemed to be the right time, especially since, from my understanding, Lauren got no backup from anybody who obviously knew a lot of things that were going on. Instead of her being able to back up her sexual harassment claim, she got pushed to the curb. I thought, ‘Let's just put those texts out there and let the chips fall where they may’.”

People aren't resentful of Nick bc he's part owner of HCL. Notice Ryan doesn't get this kind of hate. Plenty of people are way more successful than Nick on HCL and other poker shows and people aren't resentful of them.
People resent Nick bc he's a scamming slimy grease ball. It's also disgusting to watch him play poker. Obviously it's his show so he could play but literally not one person watching ever wanted to see him playing.
As for your second paragraph - that's just incoherent rambling.
As for him being "forced out" he's forcing himself out. It would have been pretty easy to avoid this though. Just don't sexually harass your players and dealers. I hope Lauren sues the **** out of him. Because as creepy as his was with other players, what he did with her was blatantly illegal. And if he was smarter than a sack of turds he would have realized this.
Interesting note, when I saw Julia's quote that she put up with Nicks advances because she wanted to keep playing on HCL I was a bit surprised as I had watched her play a few times and she looked a bit of a spot in the game, not terrible but not great either.
But when you look up her results she was up over 127K in 10 sessions of the max pain game and 111K overall.
That makes the context of what she is saying ring true.
Of all the victims who have come forward, all seem very honest even if it doesn't paint them in the best light.
I listened to Veronica's 50 min interview last night and think people are being very harsh on her.
She even admitted she made some very bad judgement calls. (we have all done that about people we trusted)
I would listen to her version of events before forming an overall opinion.
D.
this is so ugly...
Garrett said that Ryan is dirty too
Hard to watch in any scenario, but especially knowing what we know now. My guess is that for every known incident of harassment the perp has probably harassed 10x with most unwilling or afraid to come forward (and the reaction / defenders of Nick itt are a good example why people do not go public).
Berkey has been covering this on the podcast and correctly called out Ryan. No way he was not privy to these incidents or the type of person Nick is. I do not blame all employees, but a partner is also culpable for not stopping the behavior.
Garrett making everything about himself/J4 as is tradition.
Him calling out anyone for associating with HCL/Nick V is such a joke considering how many years he spent so close with Nick prior to Garrett getting kicked out the gang.
If Garrett was still friends with Nick, would he be calling him out right now? Nah probably not
