you always compete against everyone else with money in society, in every sector. if you enter and they don't that's a choice. if they are already in and they don't go to the next technology, that's a choice .
every single human being with assets is your competitor every time in every sector. if you win, you won against all of them, you were better than everyone else who had cash to deploy.

it's all legal and democrats all deserve everything will happen to them under that framework.
my take is that if you ever go over a threshold, there is no limit to what you deserve to get ad vengeance, the totality of what republicans can do to make democrats suffer is not only legitimate, but a moral imperative. it should be the life mission of the DOJ to try to abuse the law as mich as possible to exclusively destroy democrats, their donors, and their allies.
