If you look at his work as a whole I think there is a reasonable argument to be made that he is the least power hungry President we’ve had in my life. He is drastically reducing the power of the federal government, which he is the head of, and that is putting more power in the hands of the people and state governments.

Don't get me wrong, I think Jan 6th was pretty funny and not some great SHOCK TO AMERICAN DEMOCRACY (which was broken long before 1/6), but it still was, at least by some degree, an attempt by Trump to overthrow a lost election. An entirely quarter-assed, pathetic, zero-chance-in-hell attempt, but one nonetheless. The PREVIOUS Republican President was even worse; that dude got the Supreme Court to STOP THE COUNT!, but anyway, lol.
(1/6 was mostly a QAnon cosplay of "The Storm" that Trump tried to repurpose for his attempts at election cheating)

I am getting pretty old but I don’t remember an out-going president ever planning and speaking at a rally on the day the electoral votes are counted. Or contesting the election results that long after an election.

all sports with national competitions actually require... national rules, a nice example of one of those things that states can't decide about, there need to be a single, nationwide rule.
Fed vs states isn't about importance of the topic. It's about if the topic is national in essence or not.
Put American youth sports on that list of things Luciom knows nothing about yet tell us how they operate here.

Nah, I don't think geopolitics or world order factors much into what the US government is currently doing. There is no grand design, it's just the healthcare plan all over again.
