You have to get pretty niche to find decent conversation and even then it’s not really worth it

A comment can be both condescending and factually correct. In this case, however, I suspect the comment was condescending and factually incorrect. Other than perhaps height, I'm not sure the appearance of male candidates matters much at all. Our recent enthusiasm for electing septagenarians certainly suggests that it isn't a big factor. But to the extent it matters at all, I suspect it is a factor for a higher percentage of male voters than female voters.

That's fine. I wasn't attacking or defending your characterization of crd. I simply was giving my opinion that he was factually incorrect.
In my lifetime Nixon and Johnson would be on the list.
I ain't no historian, but for the sake of discussion I'll accept whatever folks who spend their lives studying this stuff conclude. (Assuming there is an overwhelming consensus on who the most corrupt POTUS is/was.)
