Kabuto...

Ah yes... there it is hiding in that bowl.

Sugarcane at Venetian. Haven't eaten here since the remodel. Roast corn, salad, skirt steak, eggplant parm, cali roll, butter lobster roll, shrimp lobster tamales. All very good , but the corn was spicy but bland.

Delmonicos at Venetian. Bbq shrimp, devil eggs, filet, cream corn augratin pots, king crab asparagus, Banana cream pie, pecan tart. Delicious. Emerils always satisfies.

Tao at Venetian. It's been years since I've eaten here. Lychee martini, lobster wonton, chicken gyoza, duck eggroll, broccoli beef, tempura beans seabass satay. Gyoza was extra salty. Everything else was delicious.

Those meals look amazing. Prices would be nice just for reference.

Also, if anyone is interested, this is from Groupon, but expires Sept. 1: Gordon Ramsay Steak: Signature 3-Course Dinner with Wine Pairing at Paris Las Vegas - $119 Per Guest (up to $202 Value). Mains are salmon, beef Wellington, or 8 oz. wagyu skirt. Seems like a good deal.

Sorry , I have no clue what the prices were. Ir was all comped.

Smith and Wollensky exceeded my expectations. I was expecting a mid tier Ruth’s Chris experience and this was much better. They offer a free glass of their house wine that’s normally $25 with an entree for locals. Bartender hooked it up with a free cocktail too instead of wine for my friend, and topped off mine pretty nicely.

Bread (free) - 8.5/10
Angry shrimp - $36 for 4, we added one - 9/10, huge shrimp and great crust/sauce

Prime NY strip with Cajun rub ($83) - 9.5/10, loved the rub which was actually fairly spicy. One of the better strips I’ve had in town

Roast beef hash ($8) - 8.5/10. We ordered a half portion and it was gigantic, maybe they gave us a full one.

$129 in poker comps for all of that, not bad.

that steak looks really exciting

Went to the new Bazaar Meat at Venetian, place was absolutely packed. No reservations available this week except 11pm. I sat at the bar. Really nice atmosphere as you’d expect.

Food was amazing, some new items on the menu. They were out of a few items, not a big deal given it’s their first week.

Gazpacho consomme $8 - 8/10
Pork belly bahn mi $16 - 8/10
Sobrasada toast $14 - 9.5/10
Charcuterie plate $20 - 9/10
Pan con tomate - 9/10
Citrus in Textures dessert - 11/10 this dessert was insane, must get. So many things going on. Possibly influenced by an edible but wow.

Pan con tomate was free, sort of. On the menu it says it’s included with the charcuterie but they told me it’s not when they brought it out so they just comped an order of it.

$100 with tip for everything. Going to try some more of the new stuff over next few weeks

Check before comped bread:

Prices seems relatively sane by Vegas standards too

Hoping to get there by the end of the year. So many things I want to taste

Bazaar Meat quickly established itself as one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas. Always love seeing another positive review here!

Posted in LV questions but probably best here. If your say dining solo at a steakhouse I get you order your steak and drink no issue but how do they handle sides as they are usually meant for 2-4 people ?

I went again last night. The cappuccino onion soup thing was super interesting and really good. The giant chicharron was very giant I couldn’t even eat half of it, but solid. Also had the goat cheese toast again and the same dessert. They were still out of the basque cheesecake and strawberries and cream dessert.

Japanese sweet potato was really good, the smoked miso butter on top was delicious.

Gotta love quality food porn posts.

Thanks, two weeks in Las Vegas upcoming for me.

Went to the new Boa Steakhouse at Palazzo last night, they’re doing 50% off the whole menu including alcohol for locals this week until October 23.

This was their first day and it was painfully slow but I’m giving them some slack since they just opened. It took over 3 hours for us to eat and we only had bread, 3 apps, 1 steak, and dessert. Took over an hour between the last app before the steak came out. They did comp the entire cost of the steak though and we didn’t even ask so that was nice. $106 for a $255 bill, $160 with tip was a smokin deal.

That said, the food was fantastic and the “smoke show” cocktail was 10/10. Might have to take advantage of the half price $114 wine flight. Going back tonight and then tomorrow with a group.

Parker house rolls and butter - 9/10
Bacon - 8/10, Bavette’s still reigns supreme
Crab cake - 10/10 maybe best in Vegas
Wagyu cigars - 9/10, like fancy taquitos but nicely spiced and great sauce
Skirt steak - 10/10 (fries 6/10, kinda bland and not super crispy)
Sticky toffee pudding - 8.5/10
Smoke show cocktail - 10/10

Wow, all of that looks great, and a great locals promotion. Thanks wj94

Def a solid deal and they said bottles of wine up to $300 are included in the half off. Went for round 2 tonight:

Goat cheese baklava - 10/10
Shrimp scampi - 10/10
Blackened NY strip - 9/10 was great but closer to medium well than medium
Caesar - 9/10, they comped this because it came out after the steak. Still working on the timing issues but food is great.

Not sure what’s up with the $1.49 fee they put on the bill (didn’t notice until after) but can’t complain when it’s half price.

Some more Boa, third night in a row. Got a reservation tomorrow night too.

Crab cake - 10/10 again
Scampi - 10/10 again
Goat cheese baklava - 10/10 again
Wagyu meatballs - 9.5/10
Skirt - 10/10 again
Peppercorn NY strip - 9/10, tried to order the Australian Wagyu strip but sold out
Hamachi - 7.5/10, Toca reigns supreme here
Mashed potato - 6.5/10 pretty average, tried to order two other sides but sold out
Chocolate dessert not sure what it’s called - 9/10

4 nights in a row will be epic

4 nights in a row will be epic

Skipped it tonight since no seating, but 4 out of 5 ain’t bad either.

Two more visits to Boa, going again tonight. 6 times in 7 days seems good. Tried the California Kings wine flight last night and that was phenomenal, especially “The Bard” from Realm Cellars. Need to get myself a few bottles of that. Not cheap but 11/10 quality

Filet - 8/10 came out a little over done but very good still
Chilean sea bass - 8/10 good but Jean George’s has the best sea bass anywhere
Steak tartare - 9/10 maybe a notch below Bazaar Meat on my tartare hierarchy

Filet and tartare:

Shout out to the cookie dessert at Boa, a lot better than I was expecting and honestly 10/10, those cookies are legit

$114 for 6 oz. of wine seems insane, but it's always fun to taste wines you normally wouldn't get a chance to. (I love wine shops that have the sealed bottles and let you buy samples with a card.)
