Rakeback is bad, promos and freerolls for the recs like they've been doing is good. I couldn't care less if I get rewards if I'm getting punted to every day. It would be nice to get some incentives for starting tables and MTTs, though. They shouldn't totally get rid of rewards for pros, but they should definitely never allow rewards to be how you make a living.

Global still dominates the promo arena IMO. They just give away money everyday to you. Tons of promos too. I am finding that gold is just to focused on feeder tourneys to their 5-10 big tournaments a week. Which is fine but I definitely want to actually play some lower tier tournaments for wins, not just seats. The MMT climate is basically a desert. They gave me $2 for joining I think. Their 750 nightly freeroll is so easy to cash that I ran that up and did the $2 turbo nightly. Since then I do a few tournaments a week but the schedule conflicts with mine. I think I'm up to $40 on Gold right now with only 1 final table and like 2-3 cashes a week. I can't stand the no note taking on the site though. The population is so low there, its such an easy freebie for rec players. The table organization coding is awful too. I jump and jump and jump between tables.

If the pivot to a training based site sells legally then I will have to move to Gold as sweeps sites seem to be on the chopping block. I love the look of Gold too. I guess they don't want to spread themselves to thin on the tournament front like Global has, most of their guaranteed dailies don't usually get there, which is a really bad sign. I'm just kind of sitting on the fence right now as a lock-out US player. I don't really have many options besides Gold and a few others.

Huh? Global has awful promos. All they really offer promo wise is RB and some free sweeps here and there when you make purchases. I'm talking about things like the million dollar freeroll, giving free money out for winning a WSOP bracelet etc. Those are the type of things that actually attract recs not RB.

Attracting people with a free $5 here and there doesn't attract that customers you actually want.

Golds tournament schedule is also much, much better than Globals what are you even talking about? Global poker was fantastic 6 years ago, now it sucks and is dying.

The solution is for them to lower the rake some. Pots are bloated because of the ante/straddle which leads to larger bets so CWPT is going to get closer to the rake cap on every hand. Look at the GG winners list at 200nl. Despite soft games, no one beats the game pre rakeback.

The game quality is deteriorating and it will continue to do so over time. It's not apples to apples because the CWPT games play so much bigger but there were 5/10 games running on global yesterday and none on CWPT. A month ago there would be 10-20 1/2/4 games running on CWPT, now its more like 3-8. There were three tables of 2/4/8 last night and almost every player was in the 20/15 to 30/25 range. You need about two fish or one whale at every table to beat this rake long term.

I like going back to one tabling. My hourly was higher but the games at launch were ridiculously soft. I don't know if multi tabling caused the games to get softer or some of the fish blew their money and are gone forever. Probably a combo of both.

Is it really a training site if 50-75% of the HH on site can’t be evaluated? Sure ICM MTTs are vastly different than cash and HA for PLO is thin from what I gather and I understand the need to 3 card monte the FBI but the players are who suffers from an incomplete product.

Also, not having the app developed for mobile seems super lazy with the amount of take CWPTG charges seems like these should be things to implement sooner than later.

The hand analysis are garbage anyway. I have no idea about the engine behind it but the outputs are consistently different from GTOW. I've posted a few but I am seeing it over and over. Not just a small mixing error, one says 100% fold the other says 100% bet.

The increase from 1 to 4 table for cash games was too drastic I agree. It really should be 2 cash games + 2 mtts at most.

The problem is most people think that poker sites are going to cater towards winning players. They don't. They're not going to, and they can't because they'll go broke. They have to cater to recreational players. So if you think they're going to make the site better for a winning player you're crazy. They're not going to give you hand analysis that's going to make you better, they're not going to give you more free money to win. They have to cater to The Muppets

Egption said "maybe this weekend" or "hopefully next week" even though it's currently the "next week" they were hoping for. Not optimistic given the PLO glitches but with Rampage and Wolfgang touring Canada starting next week they're going to want to iron the wrinkles shortly.
