Grissom surprised me. His speed numbers fell off so fast. Lofton probably there in 94 if no strike. 12/60 with almost 50 games left. It was his best season.

Eric Davis with 28/80 in 1986. Then he had 37/50 in only 129 games in 87. Then in 88 Canseco becomes the 1st ever 40/40 man.

Also Maury Wills, the first 'modern' guy to steal 100 in a year.

I'm guessing the rest of the list is all guys with 80+ steals in.a season. Guys like Willie Wilson who just missed at 6/83. I looked up the steals list now and there's a guy that had 97 steals in 1980 that probably nobody will think of.

Bonds best was 87, not the year he had 73/13 but a year early in his career that he had 35/52.
