SUPER ALI AHMED
****
go messi
say to say that super ali ahmed's time in mls is coming to an end soon... also racked up 1g/3a in his last 3.5 games with the national team, and scored 2 goals + won a pk in the can cup final. dude has absolutely been on fire this year. think he'll probably move to europe in the january window, but it'd be nice if he stuck around until the world cup next year and left in the su
so super ali ahmed made his move, low fee+move on% afaik to join norwich city, who were sitting in the championship's relegation zone. they turned things around new manager philippe clement, and with ahmed in the lineup they won @wrexham (who were on a heater, especially at home), won 5-0 @west brom and today just beat league leaders coventry, with ali piling up 2g/2a over 182 minutes of play. too easy, too good
mls confirmed big time back!: 2026 season kicking off today with 13 games
Whelp, another season of not caring one iota about this **** Montreal squad. See you next season!
yeah i saw their opener vs san diego was on tsn, took a look at their lineup, and was like no thanks i'm good. nothing very interesting there, seems like they just ran it back. barely trying, if at all
Holy crap, didn't watch obviously, but Montreal's latest performance has to be one of the worst in MLS history. They were down 1-0 to Chicago, but Chicago picked up a red card in the 56th minute. Good news, right? No, Chicago ends up adding 2 more goals while down a man to win 3-0. Montreal generated 0.10 xG for the entire match! And they spent over a third of it up a man!
Hopefully VWFC fares better, they certainly can't be worse!
yeah i saw that, but didn't want to say amything. montreal looking straight up like a cpl team thru 2 games :(
but as imfc, they'll probably find a way to turn it around and win 10+ games somehow
8' Owusu P. (Penalty)
44' Carmona W.
68' Carmona W.
3-0 win in new york? imfc confirmed big time back
vancouver, montreal and toronto all win away on the same game week ..... i wonder how many times thats ever happened
nancy in?
Oh ****, we've got someone better than Nancy and even prime Sir Alex. A man by the name of Philippe Eullaffroy.
Took a 1W 6L 0D team and wins his first match against a decent-ish NYRB 4-1!
Just gotta hope he can keep MTL somewhat in the playoff hunt and maybe it convinces Saputo to bring in a couple DPs (one can dream).
Caps at least look mega elite, hopefully this time they ship the Shield and/or Cup.

3 wins over ny teams now? imfc confirmed big time back
yeah hopefully the new manager is legit

fingers crossed

more dreaming. yeah they look good again this season, though the early schedule has been home heavy because of the world cup. not sure if it's the scouting department or what sorensen does with the players he's given, or both, but almost literally everything they've done the last couple years has worked out. still have a few key injuries, but all the new signings look solid. was rather worried they'd miss ali ahmed more than this. hopefully i didn't speak too soon...
IMFC 1 of only 6 teams (along with VWFC) league wide on a 2+ match win streak, confirmed elite!

Yah, just saw the 8H 1A match split, although still a promising start nonetheless as xG doesn't even have them running hot at this point, advanced stats backing up their strong play so far.
1.whitecaps
back again. but headed to vegas? probably. who knows
leading the way ... the club's all-time leading scorer scottish messi ryan gauld? nah, he hasn't played yet this season. the #2 all-time leading scorer brian white? well kinda, he does have 8 goals. is it super ali ahmed? nah, he left for england. well then it's gotta mr football thomas muller right? he's been solid, but missed some time, 10th in minutes and thus only tied for 4th in scorepoints, with defender mathΓas laborda. nope, the best team itl is currently being carried by 2025 mls best xi midfielder sebastian berhalter. already has 11 scorepoints in all comps.
yanks will probably crash out if he's named to the world cup squad, but dude has seemingly taken another leap from his breakout season last year. will be something to see if vwfc can ever get all their top players on the field at the same time, because as good as they've been lately, that hasn't really been the case in years. could be getting close to that though, maybe after the wc.
Now only thing that is needed is to reunite him with Greggggg as manager and surely you'll get over the hump and ship all the trophiez.
