Just FYI. If you withdrawal more then 5k per month, you will be asked for additional docs. That's an info from 888 withdrawal policy.

I requested a small withdrawal to my VISA card early in the morning on April 1st. This process usually takes no more than 3 days. Time frames state “up to 5 days.” As of now, the status still shows “Awaiting process.” I've also seen on another forum that people are waiting longer than usual for their money. Probably because it's a long weekend with two bank holidays would be my guess.

My account was temporarily frozen on 02.03.2026 for 30 days due to alleged use of illegal software. However, I have never used any prohibited programs.
The review period should have ended on 02.04.2026. I was advised on Reddit to wait for contact from support, but as of 07.04.2026 I still have not received any update. It has already been 5 additional days.

I would greatly appreciate any information about the status of my case or an estimated timeframe for the review.

March 03, I'm creating a thread on Reddit and 2+2 about my account being wrongfully banned, and I'm looking for a way to get my account back so I can keep playing. Where I suggest recording a video of the game—if that helps resolve the issue—but they tell me to wait a month

April 2, I create a thread on Reddit, Discord, and the 2+2 forum, and send an email directly to support, asking them to review my account because this is a MISTAKE. To which I receive the following reply on Reddit:

I still haven't received any clear update after the review period ended. I would really appreciate if someone from 888 could look into this case.
If anyone from 888 support is reading this, please review my case. I am ready to provide any proof or even record my gameplay if necessary.
I have been a regular winning player and I simply want a fair review of my case.

I " accepted" the decision, because i had no more energy to explain that i am not guilty.

I was also banned for a time period of 1 month. I always got the same answer from them like you can see above.

When I was banned i tried to find the reason, so i explored a bit:

And the only reason is, that i used a HUD with Pokertracker4 for SNAP games. When i searched it with google back then

it didnt lead my to the conclusion, that HUD is not allwoed on SNAP but on Reg Tables it is allowed.

But the thing is: I never made a research how to get a HUD on SNAP, i just left Pokerstars, then i saw the field [] Show HUD on SNAP.

I activated this and then Get hands while playing. Thats all. I had a HUD an played Snap with HUD.

I never got an exact explanation, that it is because of the HUD. I always assumed it, because there CAN´t be no other reason.

Now i am reading yours and it is like the exact same. And at the end they will tell you that its a permanent ban und funds will not be cashed out.

I also only used Pokertracker 4 and Intuative tables for table positioning and hotkeys.

I remember your name, we played the same tables, but i dont remember if it was reg tables oder SNAP. And did you play SNAP with a HUD if played?

I believe you, because there is no reason for me or you to use something else than the tools which are allowed for years and years.

I am also angry, why 888 does not contact Pokertracker4 and with their next update they take the HUD for SNAP out.

If you havent used a HUD on SNAP thats also a useful information, because then they really think, that we both did something but dont tell us what.

I also offered every possible thing to proove i did not use any forbidden tools. But no answers, only the same that there decision stands and will not be changed.

I've never played SNAP or BLAST tables - only 6-max regular tables.
The only thing I can think of that might have triggered their security system is that I was opening and closing tables using hotkeys configured through 888caption.

OK i remember. After that i was tilted and deleted my Database, because i was so sad about that. In my case they are talking about AI and i dont know what they mean. Because i never used something. I went back to Pokerstars and i am using the exact same HUD and Intuitive Tables, which i used for years. Im still playing on Pokerstars and everyone knows that their security system is and was always the best. And i am still there without any problems.

If you are interested in everything they wrote me just tell me and i search it in my mails.

What will you do if your account will be banned forever like mine without telling you exactly why? I will wait how the 888 support will help here and if there is nothing changing, i will contact the Gambling Commission here in my country or ask chat gbt if it makes sense to take a layer.

It's absurd that an account can be closed and funds blocked without any clear explanation.

As far as I know, there were no compensations in 2025 for playing against bots.
I played very actively throughout the year.
In your case it's some mysterious AI, and in mine it's supposedly seating scripts.
It's really sad to see this kind of attitude towards players.

For me, i was ready to do anything they tell me to proove its a mistake by them, but there was nothing they offered me.

About the AI-Thing. I even never used this trainers like GTO-Wizard or how they all named. I know no site, where you can "buy" AI, that helps you make decisions ingame. I never did that. I have just my HUD.

But our situation is the same: They don´t tell us what exactly is the problem, that we can fight against it. For me this thing is already 9 months old and 6-7 months i dodnt think about it anymore. I am als very active. If there would be somehting wrong i would have already banned at Pokerstars, too.

Its really a scandal how easy they just can block your account and keep all the money.

Habeichja, if you got an email about AI, don't waste your time. It is permanent ban. There were no any cases that has been solved after getting this email.

Such email is the worst case scenario at 888.

Chip dumping continues

I was writing 1 month in Aug/Sep 2025 with them and i already forgot about it. I have no problem with the decicion if they tell me the reason what exactly and not AI. But thank you for that information. Can you tell me a bit more? These people, did they use AI or do they also claim, that they have nothing done?

It is like someone was murdered and they come to you and say you did it and you exactly know that it is impossible and they dont give you the evidence they have.

I already built a new bankroll on 2 other sites and i never planned to invest much energy into this, because i know your standing as a privat person. They give a **** on you.

But at least i can contact the gambling comission and tell them that my money is froozen and 888 poker is lying about that i used illegal software. That they dont give me evidence.

Maybe something will happen then, maybe not.

The only reason i miss my 888 is, that i live in germany:

On 888 Poker you have weekly Rakeback, on Pokerstars you have 0%, no chests, nothing. Pokerstars says, that this is forbidden in germany. And GG Poker has Rakeback, but i dont like the overall feeling there without Pokertracker.

sick to read, that you are waiting for a year now for your Cashout. I remember playing vs you. Is there a special reason why they didnt cash you out?
