Las Vegas Fine Dining Thread
Hey,
So I'm compiling a list of places I need to go to, never been before but I have so far been told that we should hit
Mayfair Supper Club
I don’t have great pictures to share from this one, so just a brief review. If you view this as paying just for dinner this place is a rip off and not worth it. If you view it as dinner and a show, it’s a good time. Our reservation was for 7 PM and that seemed to be the perfect time for enjoying the show. It basically felt like we came in as the show was opening through a closing act.
Has some similarities to some of the things superfrico at Cosmo had been trying to do. I’ve heard comparisons to Delilah, but haven’t been so can’t speak to that.
Nothing to complain about in this dinner at all, just not the most impressive food you’ll have, but it was still a really good time overall.
Carbone Riviera
Final night was spent here. This ain’t Picasso or anything close, but it’s still a really good meal with unbeatable views if you get seats fountainside like we did. The minimum spend for these seats is easy to meet.
Sea Bream crudo

Lobster meatballs

Yeah this view is incredible

We also got the rock shrimp mezzaluna, shrimp parmigiana, wine and cocktails.
This meal ended up being comped, which made it even better.
Best friend is a must for us. I think I sent out the bat signal last time when we were there and Gwen got a pic with Roy. We like to mix the pork with the carbonara.
Mayfair is meh at best. I only went back to have a Manhattan at the bar and and listen to some music.
We have best friend, yardbird,, e, and lamaii booked for August. Gymkhana is a maybe. I'll try to post some pics.
If anyone wants to know the best steak in Vegas... It's é when they get steak. I think I've shared pics.
Best Friend is a common spot for me and we almost always do the fixed menu, which is great value.
Been to Gymkhana twice now and it’s amazing value. Everything is awesome and (especially if you pass on the $25-$30 cocktails) very affordable especially by Vegas standards.
Gymkhana is reservation only for the bar too so if you’re planning on a bar seat keep that in mind. I’m going back in two weeks for more
I want to add to this as your comment stuck in my head. We called about reserving for the bar (for a few drinks and some food). They do not guarantee bar seating. So I guess just book a table and if there is bar seating, then do that.
Yum
