No, I wrote a couple of posts above that I lost $1000 playing video poker. Keeping everything separate is already enough, and hard to keep track, so will leave it at how it is now [emoji846]

I just got back from Vegas, and I can't wait to go back. Reading this helps curb the desire.
Went back to my room after the VP hit last night and passed out, was probably exhausted. Slept for close to 8 hours which is absolutely insane for me and Vegas.
Spent a couple of hours catching up on work, watching series and just chilling in the room as unfortunately I had a massive headache. Probably lack of sleep and not enough water.
Anyways, after some breakfast and some chill I made my way to Aria around 7 am, and the plan is to stay here for the entire day or as long as I can.

My husband asked if we should visit Malta? He says it's the most bombed place on the planet, but it's beautiful and interesting with different languages, including a local dialect, and a large casino. (My husband loves languages.)

If you are in Europe then yeah it’s probably worth it, especially during the summer with the sea and everything. Otherwise there are tons of other places worth visiting in my opinion. Malta is tiny, it takes an hour to travel to one end to the other. There are three big casinos on the island but only one of them has poker and cash games sucks. It’s basically 8 or 9 shitreg Italians (apologies if you are a shitreg Italian and reading this) with headphones on not saying a word. That’s why I travel to Vegas, for the poker.

I’m surprised that you go now though. There’s a big series about to start in Malta next week I believe, I would have expected you to stay home for that and come to Vegas later???

Two reasons. One is that this is a work trip mostly, I have ton of work starting tomorrow morning basically all week. Also, I don’t really like playing poker in Malta. Cash games suck, and I don’t have the time and patience for tournaments anymore.
The games here are infinitely better than in Malta, it’s not even comparable.
Good to know about the casinos/poker in Malta. We go to Paris every year (I have a work conference), but we definitely want to take more trips. Istanbul has always been at the top of the list -- mainly because of the book, The Historian, which we both loved.

I have two full weeks left (crazy to even think about that haha) so anything can happen. But so far it has gone good, about break even after 2 days which I’ll take any day compared to losing haha.
7 hours later cashed out +$850, feels amazing!!

Overall really good. Although I have to say I would be pretty tilted paying for it without it being comped, it’s just ridiculously expensive.
Plan is to sleep and chill until the next Aria game some time tomorrow.
