My husband asked if we should visit Malta? He says it's the most bombed place on the planet, but it's beautiful and interesting with different languages, including a local dialect, and a large casino. (My husband loves languages.)
To follow-up on what Muck said, I think your husband is wrongly informed if the words 'large casino' entered his vocabulary 😆 . Casinos here in Malta is super tiny compared to what you are used to from the US.
As someone mentioned above however, there are a lot of great tournament series here throughout most of the year. These also have a positive effect on the cash game action and variety of games (even some PLO running, I have noticed). Still too many Italian sh*t-regs obviously, but those are hard to avoid.

Muck, on that VP hand you only had multipliers working in 2/10 spots. And on TDB ALWAYS hold the kicker (trip 2-4s as well). Number of lines makes no difference. If it makes sense for one line it makes sense for all lines. Good luck!

Yeah I figured holding the kicker was the right decision, but my mind was like “quad aces one time.” Worked out this time! [emoji846]
Cashed out after 3 hours for another $850 profit. Both running incredibly hot and playing well, which is always amazing. Wanted to stay longer but figured I am already up enough and it’s ok to book a good profit.
Interesting hand from the session which almost ended in disaster:
Seat 1 is a competent you guy, button is a complete tool who I’ve played with yesterday. He’s Chinese and has been angling people for 2 days straight now. Anywho, seat one makes it 15, button makes it 110 and I look down at 88 in sb. Super awkward spot as we are playing 1/3 but all three of us have $1500 each. I decided after some hesitation to fold as I don’t want to play a questionable hand out of position vs two mega stacks. Flop is 844 (!!!!) two clubs and they pack it in for $3500 pot. Young guy shows QQ, Chinese fish shows AcKc (there are two clubs on the flop). Turn brick and river Q for the ultimate cooler if I were to play the hand. Imagine losing a 6000 bb pot at 1/3!
Anyway, currently up $1500 or so, will run totals later today after my afternoon session.

Nothing special happened, just got it in QQ vs AA and 99 and did not win, not much to do.
Took $400 to blackjack and:
Total profit of $1400 after the poker, and currently up $2600 or so for the day. Could be worse!

400 to 3k is absolutely crazy run
Sat down with $400 at $100 minimum 3/2 table playing one box. Won a couple of hands and started betting 2 boxes of $100 each then 2 x $200 each and ran well. Got lucky obviously, but it’s not THAT hard at $100 minimum table if you press.
